but at the end, we saw a body in a hospitial bed, couldnt see the face, but the voice was that of Professor X, the only word that was spoke was "Moyra", which as you may or may not recall was a nurse on Muir Island that the professor had history with... cant remember much but i think she had something to do with Professor X and Juggernauts falling out

Moira McTaggert and Professor X were dating/engaged at some point. They didn't mention anything either way about it in the movie (nor did they go with Cain Marko/Juggernaut being his step brother)

I know its called The Last Stand, so it indicates its the final. But with what happens just previous to the credits and the footage after the credits finish, they leave it open...

Does anyone know if there will be anymore X-Men movies?

dude, rogue ALWAYS had red hair, she was a firey southern red head in both the comics and cartoon

google/yahoo image search rogue and i garentee you will see mostly red hair with a white streak

That may be right... but I much prefer the movie version ;-)

Anna Paquin = NZ's best export ;-)

Theres a Wolverine spin-off and the events are supposedly gonna take place before the events of the original X-men movie...

Theres supposed to be a Magneto spin off as well but I think that given what happened in the 3rd film we'll see at least one more....or so I'd like to think!

i was annoyed they portrayed juggernaut as a mutant, when he never was, he got his powers from the crimsion gem. And the fact they appeared to have f**ked off sabertooth in the first flick is mehish, he'd definitely be wanting to make a return in the wolverine spin off

The film had its moments, but imo it was the poorest of the trilogy. The script had a very high corn factor - I guess you have to expect a bit of corn from a comic adaptation, but the first two films were refreshingly lacking in that department. Most of Wolverine's dialogue was painfully trite, climaxing in the cringeworthy "NOOOO!" as he held the dead Phoenix in his arms. Then there was Cyclops' melodramatic "STOP!" at the lake shore and Angel's extremely lame wingspan pose when he broke free. Some good visuals, but overall corny and disappointing.

Brett Ratner isn't known for plot-driven movies (Rush Hour 1 & 2, some others that excape the mind atm)
I saw this last night, and I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothing, but I would totally have Beasts furry, blue babies!

Can you honestly expect the average movie-goer to see that Juggernaut has a magical gem and not decide that it's gay and unrealistic. We're suspending disbelief enough by saying mutants with powers exist - I don't have a problem with them removing the very gay element of a magical gem.

Sabertooth isn't dead by any means. X-Men - The Game features him (and Deathstrike) heavily - and also explains Nightcrawler's absence from the third film.

I saw it yesterday, totally enjoyed it, still not sure if it was the best of the trilogy yet.

P.S Gold Class kicks ass!

saw it last night, i thought it was a good film, but a crap x men film - definitely the worst out of the three!
could they have messed up pheonix anymore? in the comics pheonix was the good part and dark pheonix = evil, but pheonix has all this awesome power and for the majority of the film and especially in the major batle where ahe would have kicked ass she stood back and did nothing!
angel what the hell was the point of putting him in the movie and promoting him so much? he added and did NOTHING for the movie!
killing off cyclops and xavier? WTF? yes i know xavier 'comes back' after the credits but still...
no gambit! :(
whats with everyone losing their powers - especially rogue, i kept expecting her to suddenly start flying and develop super strength
positives - beast was really well done i thought, especially his fight scenes
glimpses of other mutants - oved the clip of the blob in the church
surely there will be more now, bugger ratner off but and bring back singer!

What want to see from this movie... (none of you f*ckers ruin it for me)

* Rogue to lose her superpowers, so she & Storm can have lesbian relations at the climax of the film

* Cyclops to die from Jean breaking his neck for being such a puss

* For Wolverine to ROOOOOOOOOAR!

* Liquid Terminator comes from the future to fight Colossus

* Pyro to burn Iceman alive

a). If you didn't notice, Magneto shows that he is getting back his powers at the end - so nobody has lost their powers for good.
b). Rogue doesn't just develop those powers. She steals them from Miss Marvel. Since they haven't introduced that character to the franchise just yet, it seems unlikely Rogue will develop said powers anytime soon

Given the way the movie plotlines differ from the comic plotlines, it would be fairly easy to introduce a super strong, flying mutant bad guy of generic name... and have Rogue steal her powers.
