For a club recovering from having their coaches accreditation torn up yes I do.

I guess that's the difference between you and me. I would take the experienced, successful, and educated coach who experienced what poor player management does to players as a great example for young players.

  • He shows that hard work can get you a long NRL career.
  • He shows the importance of ensuring players follow through with education of the field for post-career.
  • He shows that keeping healthy is a lifestyle
  • He is well placed to ensure appropriate management of supplements and importance of making sure everything is above board.
Meanwhile, St George hired the coach at the helm during the peptides saga, and then was subsequently banned for breaching that suspension.

But yes - Morris is the one that sends the bad message.

I don't think Saints should have hired Flanno either, but they haven't just had a player test positive after having issues in this regard in the past.

Okay ahhh JT was a merkin coach and so was Simona?
Yeah, Simona was sacked deservedly so. I am not on here calling for people to go easy on him. He shouldn't be allowed to play ever again. Tigers have enough problems without players betting on the opposition. lol

The coaching staff in charge at this time are no longer at Cronulla.
The management team in charge at this time are no longer at Cronulla.
In fact, Wade Graham is the only player still with the club, and John Morris was a player as well - both of which ASADA acknowledged had no knowledge supplements were breaching WADA.

Stop trying to insinuate a single player that was 10 at the time was influenced by the club, when the NRL has acknowledged this is a singular incident.

Then please explain why we keep having these cultural issues at the Sharks? is it just bad luck?

It's clear they are saying their is a cultural issue within the club, not a PED issue.

They say this about a lot of clubs to.

mate .. They are suggesting the club should’ve told him to stop taking steroids.

Why isn’t someone at the club being a grown up and saying come here mate we need to have a chat.”

The sharks must be privately seething with Gallen. What was he thinking?

Let's suppose the timing of this was a deliberate effort by ASADA to derail the sharks and the NRL, the kid still (allegedly) took the drugs so that is where the attention should be.

I mean is Gallen trying to goad ASADA in to testing the whole club?

Please detail "these cultural issues".

As mentioned - all personnel but two players that had no knowledge are no longer with the club from the ASADA issue.

Salary Cap was self reported with new management and implicated the coach from this time. He was deregistered and removed from the club. (Only for the NRL to allow the Dragons to sign him).

If that's a cultural issue then we can look at Wests Tigers for their salary cap and Simona issues. Or the previously mentioned Dragons cultural issues with women (and then hiring a deregistered coach). Or the Bulldogs. Or the Roosters.

As I said, you can fling shit at any club.

The deflecting and mental gymnastics in this thread is incredible to see.
Pfft. Nonsense!

Do you not know that being busted for using "exogenous Testosterone, Androsterone, Etiocholanolone and 5b-androstane-3a,17b-diol" is totally equivalent to popping an ecstasy pill!

Fling as much shit as you like, I canned my club over the Farah situation. I actually wanted the CEO fired. I have already stated on here I have no sympathy for Simona, he got what he deserved. Maybe the Sharks fixed all their issues by removing those people, but you can't blame people for posing questions when this is one in a long line of serious issues at the club that all involve blatant cheating.
