Its always a hit or miss with xmen.
I hope it does good. DOFP was ok at best. Need a home run now.
The thing that bothers me about xmen is that with the amount of characters and stars in their line up. It always feels like a half-assed Avengers film.
(Yes I know Xmen have had movies out long before the Avengers.)
So did the last Avengers film to be honest... Avengers 1 was good fun, but ultron was a massive let down. As the guys over at How it Should Have Ended on Youtube quipped it wasn't much of an "age" - more like a "week at best" of Ultron; He just never felt like a genuine threat to anyone whereas in DOFP the stakes actually felt pretty real.
Personally, I'd rank the original X-Men, First Class and DOFP all above Ultron.
The problem with Avengers so far has been that no threat seems at all particularly troubling because they're just so over powered... someone which just got worse when they added Vision. With the X-Men at least there feel like there are stakes - particularly in the last 2.
