The Higuain story was coming from the Mirror in the UK. They are saying he wants to play under Klopp. He has 2 years left on his contract at Napoli, so if he wants out Napoli may be prepared to sell.

They may not want to. However, if you have a player that wants out, would you keep them for 2 years knowing they could be a disruption in the locker room? Unfortunately in football, we've seen players force transfers by doing that exact thing.

God I hope not, it's the one senior player I was happy BR sold. His performances for us in his last 2 seasons were getting gradually worse. I doubt he'd want to come and play back up to Karius as well. He constantly flirted with Barca while at LFC as well which wasn't he right amount of respect we deserved from him.

Would we prefer him as a back up to Karius over Migs if it did happen tho?

So like I mentioned earlier in the week, the Coutinho to go rumour just keeps popping it's head up with PSG apparently interested now. I really think we need to keep our best players if we want to grow so its it ideal Couts may want to leave.

We will get plenty of $$$ and no doubt a decent replacement if the PSG interest turns into a bid and we accept. His main reason for leaving is to go for Chanpions League football, I find that a tad odd as actually had a chance to do it with us but didn't as he went missing in Basel against Sevilla.

Only problem i have with selling someone like couts and getting a bit $$ fee is our lack of ability to use that $$ for a replacement.

Happened with Suarez and sterling most recently. We have continually failed to replace or build on the profit made

I guess we have a different regiment charge of that money now lolesi. Granted it's still the same Scouting team and deal makers but Klopp has final say now and not BR.

I have a lot more confidence in Klopp making decisions in the transfer market so we will surely use any Couts money a lot more wiselyz
