Do you know much about Hector? I've read reports he is more a defensive minded LB as opposed to the fraud we have in Moreno who is a really poor winger masquerading as a LB.

Getting Niklas Sule would be an absolute dream, but that would mean Hoffenheim are giving up on life.
They are selling their goalkeeper to Mainz, they sold Volland ( ) to Bayer Leverkusen and then Sule to us.
I don't see it happening, but f**k me I pray it does.

Dahoud is a phenomenal player, but that would make it their 3 starting midfielder they will have lost. One is going on a free to West Ham. Former Arsenal midfielder.

For me, Gotze is an amazing player, but I am not sure he is what we need.

For mine, the GK and defence is needed to be fixed.

Getting in Karius, who is absolutely amazing, and someone like Jonas Hector with Ben Chilwell as a back up, then having Matip, Sule*, Lovren, Sakho and Gomes as CB's will be awesome. Joe can also cover RB for Clyne.

Need a defensive minded midfielder. Need one badly. Zielenski, Dahoud, Grujic, they are all box to box but don't sit in front of a midfield.
That we arguably need 2 of them. One start and one as a prospect.

Wingers would be the other area. There are reports we are selling Benteke and buying Dzeko, and whilst I fell in love with Dzeko at City, he is not a striker with the ball at his feet. We need wide players who can cross a ball.
We need a left footer, not f**king about with it either.

The bonus of Dahoud is he is a set piece specialist.

There is much more that is needed than Gotze. I won't lose sleep on him, but it would be a very big statement if we were able to pull him.

I just feel that 45 minutes of poor football cost us a chance at him.

Karius is done apparently as he has passed a medical. Glad we've sorted a keeper nice and early. Would love to see Karius between the sticks from the opening day but I have a feeling Mignolet will still be given first crack.

Just don't think I could handle another 90 mins of Migs uncertainty and flapping about like a seagull.

It's official. Liverpool FC agree to deal to sign Loris Karius from MSV Mainz.

According to ESPN FC, the deal cost 4.7 million pounds and Karis signed a 5 year contract.

I dare say a player in need of some polish somehow. Chilwell is only 19 and in 2 seasons has played 3 games for Leicester's first team, two of them being in the FA Cup last season (i.e., 2014/15), and the other being in the Capital One Cup. He spent 2 months of the season just gone on loan at Huddersfield Town in the Championship where he played 7 games as a starter.

When you look at Liverpool's squad, we do need some more English talent to ensure we comply with the home grown squad rules for the PL.

Cheers for that captain, I know absolutely nothing of him apart from him being young. Obviously looks like a player Klopp thinks he work with. We have apparently bid for Raphael Gueriero of Lorient as well overnights again he is a player I know very little of.

With us looking and moving for 2 LB's, I'd suggest Klopp has seen enough of Smith and Moreno and is looking to move both on. Hopefully Chillwell and Gueriero can actually defend or be taught that side of the game.
