Well my first thought would be because its nothing more than pure speculation but if I need any advice on how to administer an EPL club, I'll be sure to consult you

Well it may have only been the League Cup, but Liverpool beat Burton Albion 5-0. Reports are the team played like it should have last weekend. Goals to Origi, Firmino, Sturridge had 2 and an own goal. Only thing which seemed strange, when Klopp brought Sturridge on at around the 65 min mark, he had him out on the right wing again. At least he had Origi play as a central striker this time instead of Firmino.

nice to score 5 but yeah the goals weren't brilliant by any stretch, just us clowning on a lower team.

Nope, Mane was on the right wing.
Origi went left and Sturridge was Central striker.

I was going by the following comment in one of the match reports over on ESPN FC -

Sturridge came on in the 64th minute, but it was not to replace the firing Origi; The England international once again featured on the right. Sturridge himself got on the scoresheet late on, but the starting job up top appears to be Origi's for now.

Yeh no blame.
Found his comments very strange about the wide role.
He definitely didnt play there in the Cup.

1-0 to us at halftime. Milner from the penalty spot after firmino was brought down. Should have 2 goals at least as Couts missed an absolute golden chance after about 10mins. Should've had another penalty as well as Vertonghen did his best Skrtel impression and tackled Matip.

Spurs came at us big time first 10 as well, we weathered the storm and settled into the game nicely. We can look very good but also very shaky.

Been a decent game so far.

Should've taken all 3 points if we had better finishing.

Full credit to Spurs for getting a draw out of the game even tho we had the better of the game for longer periods of time.

Aguero still better IMO, pretty sure he has a slightly better goals to games played ratio.

Agree with your initial sentiment tho, Studge should be getting more than 5mins game time against sides like Spurs.
