Origi has a lot of attributes you need in a striker, he just needs to improve on his movement. He's not really a statue like Benteke, he's just struggling to pick the right channels to run into.

Cheers,

he fits the bill as we have a ton of AMs and only one striker, Jansen, it seems, has been released

Are we all in agreement that all the liverpool transfer news that went down last night was pretty f**king fun? It's not just the fact it came out of nowhere, but it was also so much movement...
i guess being in the CL has opened a lot of doors.

it's certainly more entertaining than the last 2 1/2 months.

as for Origi, he's regressed. still very capable but needs to be playing 90mins each week to get the best out of him + his confidence. he isn't going to get that opportunity at liverpool. a shame really, he was going from strength to strength until that everton tackle.

It was fun watching it unfold.
Lemar was mentioned and then you wake up and Naby Keita is a Red.
VVD next to come.

It's only a pity we have to wait 12 months for Keita, but hey at least we know its locked in.

Now if they can just persuade Can to sign a new contract.

They day Liverpool look like having a fantastic window, North Korea launch missiles.
SMFH.
I'm sure we can defend missiles with VVD

In other news...Coutinho is off guys. Klopp's fuse has run out, he's had enough. What a prick Coutinho is. The club's stance on him has all been a backing for Klopp who didn't want to sell, but that will change now that Klopp wants rid. Good riddance.

Player wants to leave - Prick
Player wants in - Not a Prick

There's quite some difference in how VVD is conducting himself compared to Coutinho though...

also a difference between how LFC behaved and how Barca behaved and if the VVD transfers goes through then LFC will have gotten away with it which is wrong

Of course, and the way Liverpool behaved is a big reason why VVD's situation is so different to Coutinho's.

I think once you've committed the act he should be out of bounds for this window end of story, I dont see any point in having such a rule if this is allowed to go through

LFC have to be careful tho as the original complaint by Saints is still on file and can be further investigated at any minute.

Hard to argue the transfer doesn't reek of dodginess if we try to get it done.

The BBC are reporting that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down a chance to move to Chelsea. Apparently he would prefer to go to Liverpool or otherwise remain at Arsenal.

Yahoo Sports are reporting Barcelona are coming back with yet another bid for Couthino in the range of €160 million including add-ons.
There was a story doing the rounds OxladeChamberlain preferred a Liverpool move because Klopp would play him in the centre of midfield but Chelsea won't.
I don't know he'd make our side as first choice.
Anyone else think that?

The minute the FA cleared us of any wrong doing we should have bid. f**k Southampton.
