Been a shocking game to watch. Both sides are absolutely kidding themselves if they think top 4 is happening. I still laugh some people on these forums said United would win it this season.

Arsenal and City would've put 4-5 past both our shit teams.

regardless, united have been a lot more average than we have been, but like I've always said, our players have no f**king steel, they have no composure, and this is the price we pay for that while united with an experienced finisher in their team score with their first shot on target.

when we are off we really are the most frustrating side to watch. To go from the Arsenal game midweek to that only 3-4 days later is just not good enough.

Oh well this will continue for the rest of the season. One huge performance followed by a let down. Summer can't come quick enough so we can cut the scrubs from the squad.

It's just painful how that scrub Van Gaal beats us again despite getting virtually everything wrong today. United had no control of the game and yet again relied on their keeper to somehow steal a result. It's just f**king painful, but also f**king painful how second rate our players are in front of goal. The difference between us and them is that they have a great keeper, and great finishers, and we don't.

and every f**king liverpool player who stood in the box just ball watching while that all happened should be docked their wages, especially henderson. WHY DID HE JUST STAND THERE AND LET ROONEY SHOOT?! How was Rooney left so unmarked like that! Why do our players make defending set pieces look like f**king rocket science?!

It's funny, surely any opposition manage now must realise that to beat us don't come and try to play fast football. When sides turn it into a dogfight we get done. you just know that when the game is like that, we don't have the ability to remain switched on for the whole game.

Yet again one lapse at a set piece is all it took.

too f**king right man. it also works well because you know that we probably won't score anyway if you give us chances to score. We could have won that game 3-0, easily, but we don't know what composure is.

It's just so gutting to lose another game to an average United side who were so inferior on the day...I mean I used to cop these losses against United better because they actually used to be a good team that won titles...

It's frustrating mate, but it's what to expect from this season. If Firmino had someone up top with him who could bang the ball in the back of the net then we'd do fine. Sturridge needs to find full fitness ASAP. Even Ings or Origi would help.

Our striker situation is so tricky. Our bloated squad size and debt dictate we don't go out and find a striker, but our pathetic failings in front of goal with Benteke, and without Sturridge and Ings dictate that we do.
