and every f**king liverpool player who stood in the box just ball watching while that all happened should be docked their wages, especially henderson. WHY DID HE JUST STAND THERE AND LET ROONEY SHOOT?! How was Rooney left so unmarked like that! Why do our players make defending set pieces look like f**king rocket science?!

That one play just shows how wrong our set up is.

We don't mark a short corner. United noticed it all game. The one time they play the short corner we are punished.

Kolo Toure was just as much at fault as Henderson, but really, the defensive set up was horrible, and I don't want to bag him more than he has been, but it starts with Mignolet.

One a corner and a set piece you Keeper becomes the captain and sets it up. Watch him on a corner, he is on the edge of the 6 yard box, no wonder he gets beat so easily.

Re-signing him for the long term is only going to further hinder us.

Getting a striker, whether it be on loan or permanent is a must this window. We need someone to score the goals.

We need someone to score goals to make up for the complete failure of also our midfield to directly contribute to scoring goals.

There are some stupid Lallana fans who are like, 'but he presses superbly! passing is great! great first touch!' Oh, tell me, since when is pressing a f**king skill that's worth paying 25 million for  His only contribution in his time here has been pressing, and words of encouragement to the media. If we wanna score goals, then we can't have people like this on our team. To be honest, I wouldn't complain if we got rid of every attacking midfielder in this team bar Firmino. The fact with Coutinho is that he is too inconsistent and he always has been. Inter didn't want him because he was too inconsistent there as well and could not be trusted. Arsenal for most seasons since Henry have not had a decent striker, but score enough goals because their midfielders know how to find the net.

There are only a few players worth keeping, interesting to note in Klopps first "Summer" with BvB he sold 17 players.
Hopefully he is that ruthless with out mob.

Mignolet isn't at fault for the goal, you can blame him for a lot of things but he didn't do anything wrong - you had 4-5 players challenge Felliani on the corner, leaving Rooney unmarked at back post. You have to query why the defensive setup allowed that.

Have apparently conceded 7 goals now from set pieces in the league this season, the highest out of any side.

If you're gonna defend Lallana, then you may as well defend your wife or flatmate who spends part of the grocery budget on plastic decorative fruit. He is all style, no substance.

Klopp has to deal with some absolute f**king donkeys this year. It is becoming clearer and clearer that you can not turn donkeys into thoroughbreds.

The only players in this team that stand out to me as keepers are:

-Sakho
-Lovren
-Henderson
-Firmino
-Ings
-Sturridge (just on his quality alone)

In an ideal world, I can not be f**ked waiting around for Emre Can to turn good. For all of his moments of quality, he offsets them with moments of complete drunken donkeyness. His ability to be carelessly dispossessed is embarrassing, ditto his inaccurate passes and the dead ends he runs himself into.

Ideally, I would not keep Moreno. Only okay defensively, going forward very overrated. Fullbacks are only great going forward if they know how to whip in a good cross- which he is incapable of. Clyne is a bit better defensively but even worse going forward. He looks so lost that sometimes he doesn't even know where the ball is relative to his feet.

I'm still fuming. The way we lost to them is a disgrace

this is the downside of not playing a proper striker who can help out in the box on set pieces....or at the very least not have aerial lightweights like lallana who i cannot understand why he gets selected week in week out....i'd much rather benteke upfront in a 442.

Can is worth persevering with, he'll get there - might as well keep blooding him this season as we're not going to do anything in the league.

no one has ever denied his potential...but that's what it is...he should be a squad player right now, not a regular starter. where is our established midfield star playing in front of him? oh that's right, fenway won't allow anyone established over the age of 24 unless he's a free signing.

and now we want to strip the club because we invested in development? reaping what we sow. fenway out!

Reality is unless we're bought by billionaires that are happy to throw hundreds of millions at players, we're going to have to prioritize. A striker who can score is more important than Can who has only just turned 22 and is starting his first full season in CM at this sort of level.

Lallana, Milner etc are far more pressing concerns than Can.

I think personally a season away from any Europe may be a positive for us.

With a full off season under Klopp with his players he will hopefully bring in and not as many games may get us back on track.

I understand that may seem negative and it will be harder to get high quality players without the lure of Europe but I think at this stage it is what is realistic in terms of our squad and getting back on track as a club.

Rodgers was forced to work like that because no one in the club trusted his judgement. Klopp commands a lot more trust that Rodgers did.

so why hire him then? he managed to take a bunch of "rejects" to 2nd spot. why hire someone you can't trust?

either way fenway is responsible.

Dude it's not like they distrusted Rodgers from the get go. They gave him a lot more autonomy on recruitment when he was hired, but that didn't work out, so they took away that autonomy from him.

You can't just blindly blame Fenway for everything. Perhaps also look at the board of directors too.

Suarez and Sturridge strapped the rest of the side to their backs and took us to 2nd, not Rodgers.

+ the emergence of Sterling and Gerrard's last hurrah as a top player.

you're talking through your arse...here's rodgers first season of incoming transfers....

Fabio Borini Roma £10,500,000 09 Jul, 2012
Joe Allen Swansea £15,000,000 10 Aug, 2012
Oussama Assaidi Heerenveen £2,400,000 17 Aug, 2012
Samed Yesil B Leverkusen £1,000,000 31 Aug, 2012
Daniel Sturridge Chelsea £12,000,000 02 Jan, 2013
Philippe Coutinho Inter £8,500,000 30 Jan, 2013

he would known f**k all of assaid and yesil. so you think the owners gave up complete trust in their manager because of signing borini and allen? they've committed far worse crimes.

wether he did or didn't, you don't lose complete faith in someone after they've been able to accomplish season objectives and then some, my point is again nick talking out of his buttocks

You suggest I talk out of my arse yet imply that knowing f**k all about his own signings is acceptable. Please, just shut up. You have no idea.

is that your bone of contention now in proving why fenway didn't trust rodgers? that really is just scraping the bottom of the barrell

so IF assaidi and yesil were rodgers signings....was that 1st season of transfers enough to warrant "a complete break of trust of the manager?"

again you're talking absolute kaka

If Rodgers knew f**k all about two of his first six signings for the club, then any owner is warranted not to trust him anymore. Please, just stop being a moron. You are totally out of your depth in this discussion if you condone Rodgers not knowing a thing about two players that he signed. So please shut up and save yourself from further embarrassment.
