Well done Knights. Most gutsy win of the year next to Manly vs Parra in round 5.
Junior Sau is a machine i loved his double tackle on Slater and Geyer.

cant remember if it was the last time we played you or if it was the time before, but paterson ripped us apart then and i thought he had a real good game again.

another thing you must remember is you guys beat us with mullen off for most of the game!!!again top effort!

Intercept pass, well, no guessing what Karmawave will have to say about that haha.

All I will say is this - thank god he can kick field goals, because I've never seen a momentum killer in a game of rugby league as much as that intercept nearly cost us that game

Wasn't he man-of-the-match?

I'll admit, at the time I was extremely frustrated by the intercept try, but whatever you think of Scott (and we all know where we stand there), you at least have to admire that he puts negatives behind him and focuses on the job at hand. he didn't fall to pieces after that, and good on him.

Absolutely.

Full credit to the guy. He played the rest of the game like it didn't even happen.

One thing the bloke doesn't lack is confidence in his ability ( even if we all have varying opinions on just how much ability that is )

That field goal was a low % play, and he just backed himself big time. He kicked it sweet as anything. It would have went over from 50 out!

He certainly deserves all the credit in the world for backing himself after it would have been easy to just go back into his shell after that woeful pass.

it's weird... i've seen 3 intercept tries today. 1 in our NYC game... one in our first grade game.. and then one in the parra vs dragons match that's on now.

must be a full moon or something.

Well I have just got home from the game. My blood pressure has just reduced enough for me to feel normal again. Tonight is the Knight we got our team back.

Great Effort!!

LOL, can't help yourself eh Karma, think back 2000 v Roosters some no name threw an intercept for Mr Fittler, that definately was a momentum killer. No field goals to save us that night.

So can someone just confirm this?

If the Warriors beat the Panthers and Eels and we lose to the Broncos, we miss out?

That is correct JM, yes.

They'll go to 30 points, we'll be stranded on 28.

however if the panthers win today and lose to manly next week we're in with the broncos result being irrelevant.

or alternatively we can just beat the broncos and not worry about any other results.

Well I guess the way I look at it, is a field goal wouldn't have even been needed if it wasn't for a moment of idiocy.

Look, I've given the bloke lots of wraps about this game he played last night, in a number of threads, especially his confidence and effort - but his game highlighted the very reasons I don't believe he is the long term answer - his inconsistency.

if the panthers beat the warriors and then upset manly next week, the cutoff point for the 8 could be 31.

-edit- wait.. no it can't. thought the pamfers were on 27.

So Karma, lets rewind say two or three years. If it was Johns who threw the intercept and then kicked the field goal what would you say? Would it still be a moment of idiocy?

some storm fans that went to the game are complaining about some of the knights fans at the game throwing dirt and other objects and stuff at them and abusing and assaulting them for simply supporting the storm....if thats true thats a poor effort by those f**kers. only a minority but that sucks.
