1. Roosters - unfortunately
2. Broncos - Motu Tony vital, Lockyer to get much more involved
3. Penrith - too many promising youngsters not to be thereabouts
4. New Zealand - Lance and Stacey to carve them up
5. St George Illawarra - due for a big year, they will put it together
6. Parramatta - as above, strong halves, Thorman a wildcard
7. Newcastle - Joey's form and injuries obviously the key
8. Bulldogs - will struggle next year at stages; a weakend side
9. Cronulla - new coach, new tactics, better result
10. Melbourne - even with Hill/Ross, will struggle to match 2003 form
11. Canberra - simple gameplan will be sorted out by the majority
12. Tigers - new signings wont set the world on fire
13. North Queensland - will be unlucky again
14. Manly - will battle again
15. South Sydney - improved, not enough to ditch the spoon.
I reckon only Roosters, Broncos and Panthers are dead certs to make the finals - and every team bar Manly and Souths has a realistic chance of making the finals. Set to be the most unpredictable, exciting season in recent memory. Lets abolish the salary cap
