A lot of people are writing off the Broncos,I just dont see how you can do that. They have so many guns,a monster pack.Their only weak points are in the halves and hooker(Berrigan and Seymour might just get it together),but gee if thats side isnt good enough to make the top 8 I will turn it up.

And dont forget Tallis should be ready to rumble with no SOO.I think they will give the comp one hell of a shake.

6. Manly (Surprisingly bought well during the off-season. A new sense of vigger throughout the club)

I gotta say that i dont think the dogs will have a top 3 spot i think they wil finish 4th or 5th. It all depends...No one knows how any team is gonna go till the season kicks off...I mean look at the panthers they were not even regarded as a top 8 team and look what happend. We wil just have to wait and c wat happens. I predict the top 4 to be :
Warriors
Roosters
Panthers
Bulldogs or Raiders

Cheers......... ;-)

Came across this one and it made for some good reading, interesting to see where people placed sides.

Most Overestimated Side - NZ Warriors

Most underated side - Brisbane/Canterbury/StGeorge

So you think the current ladder is absolutely no indication of where teams will end up? There are distinct groups forming on which we can already judge

THE HEAVYWEIGHTS Canterbury Easts Brisbane
THE CONTENDERS Dragons Storm Penrith
FRINGE EIGHTERS Raiders Cowboys Sharks < These 2 groups interchange regularly
SLIM CHANCES Knights Tigers Parramatta < but are generally about as listed there
GONESKIS FOR 04 Warriors Manly Souths

From that grouping you can make judgements about the ladders dealt out in this thread, no matter if the season is over, because the basic layout is there for all to see.

The season isn't over yet.

for the Eels it might as well be

4 genuine contenders, Roosters, Dogs, Broncos & Dragons

2 dark horses, Panthers and Storm

the rest - no hope

fairly obvious I realise, but thats the situation

Oink !

Bump.

Interesting to read what people thought on who would finish where.

The Biggest underachievers in our Eyes, Warriors and Raiders.

Massive over achievers or Understimated..

Bulldogs.

Well done Bulldogs, not only did you lose a lot of great players, but you did it with a 600,000 Shortfall compared to the rest of the league.

3.Not meaning to be biased but with a settled half combination the raiders will prove more of a force than some people think.
