Impressed with the Canberra side. Top 4 side if mccrone goes alright. Sharks need another couple backs and they'll be competitive. Roosters warriors would be my tip for top 4. Melbourne has lost their aura will be very interesting.
Also didn't know fai fai low signed with the cowboys

You must think Frank Pritchard is some player, Mick. He's about the only one missing from the side guaranteed of making the top 4 this year. All the other players who've gone have been depth players. I do wish we could have kept Wade Graham though, I think he is going to be a very special player in a couple of years. McKendry in 16 I'd suggest.

Totally had a brainfart missing McKendry.

Thought i'd named him starting.

My concern is that we have no depth now.

1-17 I'm happy...but we had a decent go with injuries this year...that wont happen every year...so we need depth and that my friend...we do not have.

Losses: Frank Pritchard, Wade Graham, Gavin Cooper, Frank Puletua, Shane Elford, Nigel Plum (maybe), David Simmons (maybe), Maurice Blair, Joseph Paulo, Daniel Penese

That's 10 guys mate. That's a lot of depth not there next year....should injuries arise.

Penrith and Newcastle were supposed to fight it out for the spoon this year, and Parramatta were the early favourites.

Anyone who predicts what is going to happen a year in advance is really just guessing, and more often than not wrong.
Well we are use to being spoon favourites. But I like it when we show them they are wrong and even make a final the same year lol.
Also this year we were very close to making the finals, like said, if we didn't persist with Dureau *shudders* we would have won a couple of earlier season matches. But I guess there are a couple of sides with ifs and buts.

I personally think Parra are in the most trouble. Terrible Halves and hooker combination. Feel sorry for Mortimer

Warriors + pre-season hype = flop

See 2004 and 2009.

Though I love the squad we have - outside of great depth, we have a solid halves pairing in Seymour and Maloney, and Isaac John and Shaun Johnson are capable fill-ins with good potential.

Probably missing a few players.

IMO we'd be best suited to lose a backrower and sign another great prop. Once Campbell retires I'd prefer mead to go to FB.

I'd lime to know what happening with the inglis/Rogers deal, if we could sign James Graham with it that would be perfect l.

Edit: We are extremely deep in the back row department, very pleased to see. Cherrington is capable of being a starter but he needs games for Newtown as it's not easy coming back from an ACL.

Jesus Christ that Canberra side looks the goods next year......Hardly a weakness in it..(you could be semantic and call the 7 and 9 weak, but I think both have improved remarkably this year)......

I think souths and brisbane look good too in addition to St George.

Sharks starting pack looks very good. Back 5 are a bit iffy although Gardner has potential. Not sure what their depth is like.

I know it won't happen with Des at the helm, but I'd love to see Oldfield or Hoppa replace Robertson. He's too slow. Every other side's got young quick wingers except us.

Bench is weak. I like Joe, but have my doubts about T-Rex being a running forward (although he has been great of late, and getting a lot more involved). George was looking great early in the year, hopefully after an off-season he'll be less obese. Matt Cross is abysmal, if he's in our full strength line-up we are well and truly f**ked. Zero depth in the forwards, solid depth in the backs with Whare, Hoppa, Oldfield etc.

You left out Dazzler's best mate C. Bailey. Certain starter .

That said, if we were lucky enough to get through with zero injuries/jail terms we'd be almost certain Top 4.

Whats happened to Symonds this year? I thought he looked to be a good prospect last season
