Penrith and Newcastle were supposed to fight it out for the spoon this year, and Parramatta were the early favourites.

Anyone who predicts what is going to happen a year in advance is really just guessing, and more often than not wrong.

Our 1-13 is fine. Same as this year practically.

Plus more mature Coote, Grant and McKendry.

We got a few young kids ready to step up...but not enough to cover the 10 player depth that we are losing.

This is the bad thing having a relatively successful year...just get picked off all of the depth a team has.

You must think Frank Pritchard is some player, Mick. He's about the only one missing from the side guaranteed of making the top 4 this year. All the other players who've gone have been depth players. I do wish we could have kept Wade Graham though, I think he is going to be a very special player in a couple of years. McKendry in 16 I'd suggest.
