Jennings would not be on 800k this year, maybe by the 4th year but I doubt Parra after just getting burnt by Hoppa would go and give out another ridiculous contract to a centre.

Apples and Oranges. Hoppa was limited in experience as a centre. Jennings has only played centre SOO certainty. Premiership winner that's the stuff you pay the big dollars for.

No doubt the coach is a question but our squad is the strongest since Gus came back. Ivan is a excellent defensive coach but i dont think he can coach attack at all, so im not sure well be worse off there. Im quite confident we'll make the 8.

It just doesn't make sense. Say the roosters are chipping in 200-300k(being generous) this year plus Pauli Paulis contract(200k should cover it, imo that's being generous again) why would Parra have 200-300k left in their cap still this late?

This says he was but contract wasn't registered so he took them to court. I'd say this money was counted to the 2016 cap even the reduced one which is now gone

He took them to court midseason, it was pretty much known before the season ended he wasn't going to be there. But even if you count the 200k they offered him the figures still don't add up.
