He needs a centre who will rebound and protect the rim without expecting to many shots(Bogut, Chandler, Adams, Wiltside) another all star calibre guy who can shoot 3s and carry some of the offensive load if Lebron isn't feeling it and a couple of solid 3 and D player to rotate through the other spots.

.
have we signed these guys could be interesting round 1 selections

Seggy on the outer?

I said elsewhere senior guys needed a rocket aswell as Blake. The away game at Canberra springs to mind as a shocking game from him.

He's off contract with a new coach to impress if he can't fire up now then he never will.

If not we are better off going with Katoa/Luke hooker rotation & spending the rest elsewhere.

Yeah I thought that, just wanted to see if anyone else had heard similar

Jesus. He was the best Hooker in the game in 2014. He had an average, injury interrupted season in 2015. Give him a break.

The it's ok they will come good attitude is why Cleary got the arse. Griffin needs to make sure it was just that and not an attitude problem. Nothing wrong with the rocket up any player to make sure they get the level they should

Yeah our whole team was injury interrupted, we needed our senior guys to step up in that situation not to go to shit like Seggy did. He was one of the guys putting us under pressure with dumb plays, he would just run the ball with two markers then go in a few circles and dump it off to a flat footed prop time after time, when we already struggled to get over the advantage line that stuff was just killing us.

I mentioned the Canberra game before. He missed a few one on one tackles that led to tries. We came out after halftime with better intencity. Got to about the halfway on 3rd tackle he then threw a forward pass. Next set Mansour lost it on the 2nd in the same spot.

Threw a few shockers in Darwin aswell. That was my issue with last year they just seem to wait to expect it just to happen. Ivan included there so that's part of why he's gone

This sort of stuff from senior guys didn't help and hopefully it was just injury and it's fixed. A blasting from a new coach can't hurt to ensure they are firing come round 1.

On paper we are a top 4 team. Without attitude and application we will be (again) bottom 4.

Griffin is certainly addressing this and no-one is safe. I like that there is a lot of competition for places. Players now need to play on ability and not reputation.

I don't get this. I don't think we are at all. These squads are immediately better:

Broncos
Cowboys
Warriors
Sea Eagles
Storm

maybe even

Raiders
Eels
Rabbitohs
Eels - that's a joke surely? jennings and radradra are the only guys in the backline who would crack ours. infact in the whole team they have maybe 4 or 5 players we would take. Foran the only spine player. Jennings and Radradra the only backs.

Edit
That's not to say their squad isn't solid with a lot of potential if things click for them. But ours is more established and there's not many guys we would want from them.

Forgot big semi. Would take him over Jenko.

No way in the world Parra or Canberra are

Billy is the only bloke that can talk sense without being bias.

Panthers truly have woeful squad it's down there with the tigers and titans and panthers have a worse coach than both those sides
