Yeah, I don't see Moylan as a natural half. I think it's just that many can't really believe we really intended to play Wallace there for three bloody years.

This is Peter Wallace's last year at our club. If he intends to continue playing then he will surely have to move to the UK.

Jamie Soward on the other hand has another two years of his contract so not sure how that is gonna pan out given his on going back problems and other injury concerns.

If they are both fit and well Sowie and Wallace are certainly the best fit going into the start of 2016. They compliment each other well and both have sound kicking games which we will surely need. Having said they they are each at the back end of there careers and unlikely to be injury free for the entire season so the opportunities for the younger brigade will certainly arise.

My biggest concern is, I just dont see Moylan as a 5/8. So many here put him up as moving to the halves but I simply don't see it. He has some of the skill set for sure but not the most important attributes. He simply doesn't possess the necessary kicking game.

Agree with that but otherwise agree with the "should be" team. With Brown, Idris, Manu and Docker leaving, I don't think our depth is that great in the back row. Definitely Yeo, Garcia, Smith and Sopoaga aren't bad options but not stand outs at this stage. We may still get Grevsmuhl though.
Meanwhile at prop we have RCG, Mckendry, Latimore, Latu,, Matagi, Kikau, plus Albert, Clarke and JFH on their way to being very good props.

I think Back row depth is fine. There are a few experienced guys but also some really good youngsters.

Have you guys seen TMM play? Awesome Talent, massive future but he is not close to being ready for NRL. Maybe at the end season.

Will Smith will start in the halves if Wallace or Soward aren't ready.

Have you seen Smith play halves? He had 6 games in 2014 when we were on fire and he was average.

I think he's an option in our backline. Or was before Hiku. But I can't see him playing halves for us before TMM.

How does TMM get to FG standard unless he plays?

Our attack has plenty of attack with Soward, Seg, Peachey, Moylan & Cartwright. TMM can just do what he can for now with a look towards next year being more hands on.

It will take 2 seasons to see the NYC form come out better him learning off Soward while he can

He plays reserve grade.

The Jump from NYC to NRL is way to big.

TMM is not ready.

Smith has improved a lot since 2014, he'll get the nod ahead of TMM until he's ready.

It'll be a wait and see with TMM - He has talent, that can't be doubted - But the way some are banging on about him in here he'll win the Daly M in 2016 - It's good to have some kind of positive outlook for him, he's quality, but let's not get too excited until he get's a crack and we can see what he can do.

It's good to have some depth in the halves, but for now, I'd just like to see what Soward/Wallace can come up with in a full strength side. We never really got to see what they have together last year.

TMM will be the 1st player in history to play NSW Cup to get ready to be number 1 play maker.

He's played NSW Cup scored a hat trick so hardly a total rookie. If goes well in the trials no reason he shouldn't play come round 1.

A total FG rookie - NSW Cup is a good start, but it's not the NRL - TMM will be great, but let's not get ahead of ourselves and break the kid.

I'm struggling to take your posts on TMM seriously.

He did score a hat trick, he also had his arse handed to him a few times.

Well according the the Facebook NRL Gossip page, speculation is apparently rife that Peter Wallace is joining the UK Super League in 2016.

Would certainly make things a lot more interesting in terms of halves selection come round 1 should this eventuate.

1Moylan
2Hiku
3DWZ ( too good to lump on wing )
4Wahre
5Mansour
6W.Smith(swapping with Moylan)
7Soward
8RGC
9Segyaroo
10Matagi
11Merrin
12Cartwright
13Taylor

14???
15 Peachey
16 Latimore
17 Mckendry

Seem a bit thin in backrow. But I do not know much about some of the young guys.

I do not rate Yeo-Not sure who on here does? Ivan used to go on that he will be a special player, but to me he offeres not much in his impact

Rumour is Griffin is keen to play Peachey at 5/8.
