I'm saying the way I think Madge will go. Not what I'd do. You should know how Madge likes things alien and who his favourites are!!!!!!
McInnes was going to leave and Madge told him he wanted him to stay. Madge will repay that by having Cam in the 17.
I can tell you Madge really likes Turner. It's his favourite pet in the team. Lowe used to be the pet but obviously he's retired.
Madge likes Turner for his very high tackling rate and his decoy running. Also Madge really admires what Turner has been through and says that it epitomises what Souths are about.
Madge doesn't like Brown as much as he runs onto the ball way too hard and has poor ball security and running very hard onto the ball can force the hooker to panic a bit and throw the ball forward.
Brown rushes out of the line too much in defence which is a massive no no as it creates easy gaps. In general Brown is poor in defence.
Brown's over enthusiasm is actually a negative. Fellow members at the game see the same thing re Brown.
Maybe around origin time if we have injuries we will then see Crichton.
yeah i know madge asked mcinnes to stay, but that shouldn't be enough to get him an automatic spot in 1st grade. if mcinnes plays very well in the pre season games, then fair enough if he's in the 17 in round 1
i like turner. i know what he has been through. he is one of those players who i see should be either just in, or just out of the first grade side. i'd definitely have sutton in the starting side, in the second row. r20, i really rate grevsmuhl. i know he was a little inconsistent last year, but a lot of younger players are like that when they first come into first grade. in his good games he showed how good he can play. i think in 2016 he will be more consistent and will be an even better player. i see him making the qld state of origin team soon, and i'd definitely have him in the rabbitohs starting side, in the second row, before turner, but yeah madge might see it differently
i don't remember brown knocking on that much. i remember the twins knocking on quite a few times though. props should be steaming onto the ball. a good dummy half can handle it. i like brown's aggression. i reckon he is a good player to have on the interchange. he comes into the game with lots of energy. if he is able to rush way out of the line, it tells me the team's line speed is too slow. maybe he does need to control his aggression a little, but his defense was usually pretty good imo
it might be true that we only see crichton in first grade around origin time, but if he goes really well in the pre season games, i'd like to see him in the 17 in round 1. that way he gets as much experience in 1st grade as possible before the finals
