Its the offseason so we might as well throw this in, make sure if your going to bag someone elses predictions that your gutsy enough to throw in one of your own.
1. Dragons. - Same as Eels, went a long way this year to getting rid of there underachieving tag.
2. Broncos. - Always competitive will be interesting to see if they can get rid of the end of season slump.
3. Eels. - Retained there core team, right up there. Eels are once again a huge force in the NRL best team since the 80's.
4. Knights. - Top 4 finish with Joey - 8-10th without him, have great depth and with new regime @ club injuries should reduce dramatically.
5. Tigers. - Clubs will be weary but gutsy tigers will still be up there.
6. Roosters. - The wildcard of the comp depends entirely if the new signings can reinvigerate the club.
7. Cowboys - Consistancy may be a killer, loose of Raihihi takes a lot of the threat out of there forward pack, dynamic backline will get them out of a lot trouble
8. Bulldogs. - With such a big forward pack and some great backs they'll win more then they loose.
9. Seaeagles - Cant see them breaking into top 8, but will go strongly. - Great signings predict big 2007.
10. Storm. - Loose of Orford, Bell and Kearns will see the club struggle big time but will still be competitive.
11. Panthers. - Such a talented team but the club seems to be on a downward spiral, expect big drama's on the player roster this year.
12. Raiders. - Predict once again will start strong and may challenge for a top four berth if Smith can stay fit but predict the wear and tear of the NRL will see him spend a lot of time on the sidelines.
13. Sharks. - Unhappy club @ the moment and that will reflect on the footy field, lose of Peachy and Stevens will hit hard.
14. Warriors.- No established halfs though fien is a brillant player, and arguably the toughest forward pack in the NRL, will upset a few teams but stringing two wins in a row as usual will just not happen.
15. Souths. - Some good buys but these are merely very average first graders, where are the players that can change a game? Sutton in the halfs is good, but no real whizz bang players. Really need the juniors to step up.
