Due to our diabolical season I’ve been watch some former glory.

92 93 anyway I started watching the 97 sl grand final and couldn’t believe how few players remained from 93
Halves were still there which provided some pretty handy stability in the 90s. There was a bit of a cleanout after 96. From memory, Kerrod Walters, Willie Carne, Cann, and a few others who were past it.

Had to go to page 7 to find this.

Anyway 1992 World Cup final. Steve Walters was great in this game. Stood out among many great performances. It was a great team the kangaroos fielded that day. All the young merkins on here really should watch it. 77000 at wembley made for an amazing atmosphere. It’s on YouTube have a look

Kerrod Walters and Mark Hohn are the most under rated players to ever play for the broncos.
I watched the 1993 semi vs the bulldogs recently and kerrod had a huge game. He was making first contact with Martin bella nearly every time bella took it up. His attack got all the attention but his defence was just as good

Sadly I never watched it as wasn't into League back then but only a year later it was the Wigan v Widnes Challenge Cup final that got me hooked.

Watched plenty of challenge cup games during lockdown. Finals and semis. Always great to watch with an incredible atmosphere. The commentary and officiating are always great

Yes I gone of the CC final since the new Wembley was built and with SL Grand Final taken over but the old games I have watched since lockdown I have really enjoyed more some of the past few years games with big names, fast play and lots of atmosphere.
