I thought it was a bit unusual to be asked to be a mod especially not long after just registering.

I came back after a couple of days and knew something was fishy when I visited the same page again and it said something like 'Welcome "Not Registered" would you like to be a mod?'

Then I spotted THIS thread that we are currently in.

@Didgi: don't feel too bad mate. I fell for an April Fool's prank a number of months after (September) on another forum. It is still getting people, and it was posted in 2007! If anyone knows anything about the game Diablo 2 and wants to see me get suckered because I didn't read a thread properly, click here for the original post, and here for me admitting to falling for it months after.

As for this thread, did Loudstrat ever wake up? Bulldogs Force? I must admit I knew almost straight away it was an April Fool's (because I hadn't been here long and there's no way all of these people abusing me could have known who I was, let alone me being made a mod), but it took me quite a while to cotton on to the actual trick, with me posting a number of wrong guesses in the process. Sad that some people just can't see the funny side of these things when they are the butt of the joke (and especially when they are not the unique butt of the joke).
