Go with mannah, he has done a very solid job for parra all year.

You don't want to bring in another debutant while playing up there, get someone who you know will do the job and doesn't mind getting bashed around. Mannah is that type of player who will just do the job Daley wants and do it well.

Woods made 200 metres and 46 tackles on the weekend + an offload.

Stats arent everything but just watching him play, he's quality and quantity combined. Excellent footballer and would be glad to see him picked.

Dont think Mannah will let anyone down either but think Woods is the better footballer.

Does anyone think Mason would be fit enough to survive the rigors of State Of Origin these days?
We could do with another fierce player in the team especially up there at Suncorp.

He has the experience but whether he is still capable of playing State Of Origin I think he'd be a close favourite after Mannah if Grant is out injured.

We really can't afford to blood a new prop for game 2. It could ruin their rep career for a very long time.
Woods is going great and will play SOS in the future but is he really what we need for game 2 in Queensland?

Can you please stop pushing for Kade Snowden. The guy is trash. Has no right being in the dicussion for SOO front rowers. There is a gulf the size of Mexico between his quality and that of guys like Grant, Woods, Fafita, Tamou, Mannah, Gallen, Merrin and Tolman. I could continue but ive already named far too many!

He's not even the knights best front rower. Or even #2 for that matter. Old man Mason has him covered and so does the younger Sims bro
 You're a funny bloke Raider. But I'm cool with the guys you mentioned to go ahead of him, besides Tolman. But he has been our best front rower, for you to suggest otherwise shows you haven't watched us properly this year or you just have NFI.

Don't think anyone will like this, but Kade Snowden has killed it over the past 2 months.

When we've been ahead against teams it's been while he is on the field, as soon as he goes off we collapse. He's been dominating players in defense and doing alright carting the ball up and making the odd linebreak too.

Snowden is shit. How this nuffie played for NSW and Aus should be the subject of a royal enquiry.

Woods or Mannah. I see Mannah getting the nod from Laurie though.

Raider you haven't watched many Knights games lately if you think Korbin or Willie are playing better than Snowden at the moment, he's been head and shoulders our best forward for the past two months.

Don't buy into the BS to do with not blooding in new props for origin. Woods should get the nod.

Dugan/Hayne
Morris
Jennings
Morris
Ferguson
Maloney
Pearce
Gallen
Farrah
Woods
Hoffman
Lewis
Bird

Reynolds
Merrin
Fifita
Watmough

I'm a bit worried about NSW not having enough punch with that team though, the forwards were tiring down close to the end of the game. If we take Reynolds out, I'd be worried about QLD targeting him...... But like wise I really think we should bash the cr@p out of Thurston and Smith, Cronk alone can't do much, Inglis is always a danger.

That's not saying much.

Not saying Snowden for Origin, but as far as I'm concerned anyone getting 150m-200m a game for the past 6 weeks and and averaging around 30 tackles is in fine form. You're kidding yourself if you don't think his quality is up there with at least some of them you listed when he's at his best.

Mason is barely FG standard this year, he never should of been considered for Origin.

Your lack of rational thought and pure hatred towards the Knights is hilarious.

This, I was going to say the same, you know the people who rate players based from the media saying Mason has been the knights best forward. He is averaging around 80m a game quickly looking through past 8 games.

He is good for our team (barely FG standard abit harsh imo) but no where close to be going as good as Snowden. Should not be playing origin either as he is very immobile and was too well handled last time in origin. Not quick enough

Woods or Mannah. Woods would handle the debut imo, but would support mannah aswell.

Also agree. Having Mannah say starting along side gallen and J. Reynolds dropped and Woods on the bench (with Tamou, Grant out) would add that much more impact in the middle for us, won't happen though

Grant may be back in time, well some have been saying that at least. I think i would keep reynolds just in case something goes wrong with Farrah. I think they should in all honesty drop Trent Merrin, He's good but at prop he just doesn't have enough go forward. Fifita, Tamou have the size, Gallen is super strong, Merrin although good isn't either. the best 4 props we could go for imo in the current situation is: Gallen, Fifita, Woods, Grant/Mannah. Mannah in if Grant can't make it in time, if he was playing in origin 1, QLD would have completely been rolled. He's like Petro, those bullocking runs of his, no one in the game does it better. Tamou and Fifita are more flash, they have better footwork, skill and speed. Gallen is a bit smaller so his initial impact in the hit isn't as big but hie leg drive in the tackle gets him forward. When Grant comes in, his initial contact is huge and than his drive forward is unmatched. Look back at origin 2 last year and that first run up, not only was him putting petro on his a55 impressive, but what was better was him doing that as well as running into the players he did, it was pretty much the biggest guys in the QLD team - Taylor, Petro, Scott, Thaiday. And than look at origin 3 when inglis was at fullback, he was the guy every time who ran down to stop inglis after he was done bumping off the backs, Grant was honestly hard done by NSW.

Knights fans get a little touchy about Kade Snowden's form or lack of it. I've been a big critic for the obvious reasons - he's been shit since coming to Newcastle - but there's no doubt he is now playing very well and showing a bit of heart. Mason had him covered easily last year he was going that badly. It must have been embarrassing for him. But as you have stated, Mason is the one in poor form this year and only a few dimwits in the media were serious about him going anywhere near an origin start surely.

As for Kade, I said he wouldn't be a chance for Origin even if we lost our top six props. Another 12 months of current form will have him in the mix and maybe even talked about in the media.

Snowden is experienced and been making many meters in an inconsistent side the last 2 months over 150m a game. Snowden , Grant and Woods all good options

Yeah he's current form is pretty good and making plenty of metres. Just thought he was a bit of a ghost the last time he played Origin. I think Woods and Grant are definitely above him.

above....? selected instead of him most likely, i feel there is room for 2 props to come in 1 for tamou and 1 for reynolds , give qld no relief just keep smashing them up the middle .
