14. Kidley/Corey Payne if he is a NSWelshman

Sorry Drags fans, without the structure, Creagh, Morris, Young, Merrin looked a bit lost.

Pretty much the same team although Morris has to go and Lewis should be in there somewhere he's the best player in the state imo.

Mate, I'd be happy if no dragons got picked. That way we could concentrate on winning the comp again.

But seriously if they picked your team we'd be back at square one, that team has fail all over it.

Mate, if either Melbourne or possibly the Broncos don't make the grandfinal, you win it anyway.

I think you just need to tinker with the team and you could have a pretty good looking team by game three.
Hayne and Lewis are needed. King needs to be dropped for someone. But I cant really see a place for Idris at the moment.

Pretty much they need to avoid the big headlines in two weeks saying "NSW make big changes".

I'd get rid of Morris and bring in Hayne.

King has to go, don't care who replaces, convince Bailey to come back, Luke Douglas, hell I'd take both Kite and White over him.

Bring in Gidley for Young.

I think it's worth persisting with halves and seeing how it goes.

Probably need to stick with all of them the whole series, or at least the majority. I'd probably go:

1. Dugan
2. Hayne
3. Jennings
4. Gasnier
5. Uate
6. Soward
7. Pearce
8. TLL
9. Ennis
10. Snowden
11. Scott
12. Lewis
13. Gallen

14. Merrin
15. Mannah
16. Bird
17. Carney

I think Morris has had enough chances in Origin to show he isn't good enough. To be honest, I actually thought that was the best game he has ever had in Origin. Hayne is the obvious replacement. I'd leave the 1,6,7,9 as is. Get rid of King and bring back TLL. Get rid of Creagh, shift Bird to the bench and bring back Lewis. Get rid of Young, who I thought really slowed down our go forward around the ruck, and bring in Carney.

Lewis, Carney and Hayne are the players that make Queensland nervous. Not Creagh, Young and Morris. I think its a far stronger side.

I'd bring Hayne in for Morris, Tolman in for King, and Lewis in for Young. I thought Morris played pretty well up until the decision to play the man instead of the ball. That was unforgiveable for mine. Tolman should have been picked in the first place, and Lewis is a walk up start, so someone has to give way, and as much as I love the bloke, I think it should be Young.

One thing we cannot do is chop and change our key positions yet again. Dugan, Soward, Pearce, and Ennis are lock-ins. Starting Ennis on the bench was a dumb, dumb decision by Stuart. I don't think it's a coincidence that we started looking better after he came on.

I wouldnt say NSW would definitely win but if you stick with the team they will build their combinations better and overall will play better together, any major changes will be a backwards step

half the side was dragons lol u would think they would be the ones going well though

Is it worth bumping gallen up to prop and playing Lewis in the backrow.

Gallen plays as an 80 minute front rower.

farah in for ennis

another prop in for mannah or merrin

not wholesale changes just small ones

why do i get the feeling the only change will be something stupid like brent kite in for mannah?

Be realistic, we arent going to see mega changes.

Dugan
Morris
Jennings
Gasnier
Uate
Soward
Pearce
Snowden
Ennis
Tolman
Bird
Scott
Gallen

Gidley
TLL
Lewis

Mannah

I had Tolman for King
Gidley for Young
TLL for Merrin
Lewis for Creagh

I mean id also have Hayne, Carney and Farah coming in for the 2,6 and 9 but im trying to keep it realistic to what theyll do.

Keep the core of the side together, make a few minor changes and we're sweet for game 2. We weren't very far off tonight, and if we don't chop and change too much, we'll improve for game 2, in front of our home fans, win that, there's momentum and confidence to take into the decider.
