I wouldnt be moving Elford from centre. He is just starting to get combos going with Prince/Buckets and co.I think he sould stay at centre.

The question really is who is going to play 6?????You would think Fitzy, but Im still having nightmares about the last time we playerd Penrith, and their big boys ran at him all day.

Interesting Tuesday.......

As we all know Penrith are big units so to counter that i'd pick this team;

1-Hodgo
2-Moodie
3-Wilson
4-Elford
5-Covell(although i expect Sheens to move Elford to the wing and select Halatau)
6-Graham  (a defensive move more than anything)
7-Prince
13-Satts
12-O'neill
11-Boof :!: (We need size plus Skando and Gibbs deserve their spots)
10-Skando
9-Farah 8) (It's about time he starts,i dont think he's suited to the impact role)
8-Gibbs

14-Fitzy (We need him to come on when their big boys are getting lazy,he can cover almost any position and can be a match winner from this position ie Micheal Sullivan for the Sharks)
15-Galea
16-Lima
17-Halatau/or Viane if fit.

We should pack the bench with big boys.

Viane would certainly be an option, and with Lima, Skando, Laffranchi and Gibbs size would be on our side.

No Fitzy at 6.....put Farah there....I dunno where to put fitz....they did seem to make a lot of ground down his side today.

Wasnt his fault. Sheens had em playing a compressed defensive line.
Oh sorry....coaches fault.

Nah, I spose you're right, Fitzy should be able to regularly stop a 4 on 2.
Not every break Manly made down fitzys side was a result of massive overlaps.....Fitzy was found wanting several times...they targeted his side of the field, it worked, they played smart and continued to work that side.
Defensively he was lacking yesterday....oh yeah, maybe Sheens forgot to tell em to slide when the opposition spread it...maybe you should let Sheens know .Thats a good boy. :D

I think pretty spot on there mate. I think Sheens will bring in Halatau rather than Heighno though. This way the outside backs are covered also.

I've seen some great avatar's and trick's that you have done over time, but how the hell did you manage to get that 'MODERATOR' tag put just above your avatar.Mate it looks like the real thing.Great work Unit.

Id be very surprised if Sheens started with Benny G at 5/8.He barely got on the field.Last thirty I think.I think if he was going to play a forward there it would be Sattler who plays a bit like a 5/8.

Sheens did say that he wouldnt play a forward at 5/8,but with the stocks so low there,it could only be a few players.I wonder if Sheens would consider Farah there,he has played there in the past, but against Penrith it would be a big call.

Maybe Fitzy again.......

3 changes should be made to your team for the game against Penrith.

Graham in the 6, Lima in the second row to replace Graham and Prince at half. Fitzhenry seems to have no idea in the 6 and just runs in circles most of the time.

You are noticably quiet on the defensive game of his center...

Yes...and quiet about his centres attack, quiet about the locks positional play and quiet about the halves kicking game and quiet about our defense around the ruck. Why?
Can you work it out westie?

Please watch the game again. Perhaps this time you'll notice Wilson had absolutely nothing in defense. Oh, and for an even better example watch his defense against Timmins from 2 weeks ago. Timmins was waiting for a tackle that for some reason never came. Please do not bag someone's defense if you havn't bothered to even pay attention to his game.

I must have been the only one noticing hodgo saving our arses after our left side was continually slaughtered?

Hodgo did save us a few times as well.I saw that.

The difference is,that I have the ability to see the good/bad in all players.

Not just the good(no bad)in the players i champion.

Well, there were lapses dwon that side of the field. There was a bloke that you love getting muddled up and missing tackles. And it wasnt Wilson. He made a couple of grasscutters that saved us that anopther bloke would never have made.

I think its ridiculous to blame Wilson, when there is another bloke who can barely tackle and IS getting targeted because of it.

I must say that Wilsons miss on Timmins was a bad miss but totally out of character for him.In all the games Ive seen him Ive never seen him so badly out of position and make so poor an effort.

Cheers.
