This club is hard to support some times.

What genius decided that risking 38 demerit points wasn't worth the shot at getting off?

Probably couldn't afford a lawyer for him, lol.

Great team changes though. Good shit from Browny.

This is good stuff, let's see how Snowden responds to being on the bench for the first time in about 5 years.

If Brown is sacked before his three years is up given the cap situation I am done with this club. He deserves all the time he needs. This is about revolution.

Super impressed Snowy was dropped. How Gagai still gets a spot after last week though after that performance I'll never know.

Happy Feeney is getting another shot.

I thought Feeney didnt play well but definitely needs to be kept in that position for a couple more games before being judged!

Because Gagais poor game was pretty much a one off.

Snowden has been putting in shit performances for quite awhile now

That, and we dont have all that much depth in the centres compared to front row

exactly.

Reading the team that was released I realised that I have a man crush on Nathan Brown.

Nathan Brown taking 2 days to do what Wayne Bennett wouldn't do in three years. What a f**king contrast. Some past coaches here did a wonderful job at creating and leaving an absolute dire shit hole for Brown to try and mop up and fix. No matter what happens I applaud the man for showing excellent leadership, outstanding football smarts and ginormous kahunas thus far. I just want it all to work out for him first and foremost. He can see what must be done and is doing it.:clap::clap:

I think Brown has nailed the reaction to last week...

He hasnt panicked with his riskier ploys (Feeney), he isnt rushing players back based on their name (Sione and Levi) but he is still willing to hook the big names that dont put in (Snowy)

(I glad we didnt get the good ol' Ricky Stone cut-and-paste)

It much easier to end a message like that to a forward than a back; forward can be put back to the bench where they can prove themselves, backs need to be cut entirely (which id say is too much after 1 bad game).

Unless there is a guy in reserves bashing down the door, im happy to see Gagai given at least a few more chances...

Snowden and Gagai are pretty similar type players - both have a tendency to put in lazy performances (Gagai with not even trying in defence most of the time) - but they usually justify their selections by still offering more than anyone else in their respective positions. I don't think that's really a massive compliment to either of them though - more a sad representation of the squad in general.

Dane had a bad night but i wouldnt say it was because of laziness. He just couldnt get his mojo together

20 runs, 135m, 12 tackles. Pretty decent numbers for a centre

To me not even looking at the ball and his general poor attitude in defence suggests a lazy performance. I don't care about stats. Snowdens are generally right up there too. Gagai is one of my favourite players but come on mate, he's our highest paid player and on nearly 600k a year - that shit just isn't acceptable for the amount of coin he's on. It certainly wasn't a once off either. Yes he's usually pretty great in attack for us but he costs us as many tries in defence as he gets us usually.

I look forward to the 3-4 freeze frame shots from the match highlighting how a try let in down Gagai's side was actually due to a misread by Chanel defending on the opposite side of the field 2 sets earlier.
