Lomax doesn't look to me like a Nick Cotric type, now thats a player! We live in hope Lomax will be a super star
After the last few weeks the majority of us are in desperate need of several very stiff drinks or a few Valium tablets.
I am still trying to make up my mind whether the team is mentally exhausted or simply doesn’t take their contractual responsibilities to the club seriously.
We need hungry ambitious players with a tough edge who want to win everything.
Not a group of marshmallows
It has been said on here that Herbert will not be with the Dragons next year. So surely, if the fullback position is up for grabs, Lomax should at least be given a shot at it.I reckon quite the opposite. Most on here are so in love with the idea of Lomax being the best player to ever pull on the red v that they will make any excuse for him if he plays rubbish.
He will be invincible for a few weeks.
There was a reason why Dufty was selected over Field for first grade fullback. Unfortunately his defence is even worse than Dufty's.He won’t be fully match fit for centre. Nowhere near fullback.
Field would be the fullback replacement.
Why would the fullback position be up for grabs? It has been said on here that Herbert will not be with the Dragons next year. So surely, if the fullback position is up for grabs, Lomax should at least be given a shot at it.
Why would the fullback position be up for grabs?
Why would the fullback position be up for grabs?
Matt Dufty is our fullback and I cannot see Lomax (yet to play more than 4 minutes of 1st grade) dislodging the kid that has single handedly won us a top 8 spot this year.
"single handedly"?Why would the fullback position be up for grabs?

Lomax is a centre field is a half the duff should be a jockey why don't we buy bevan french you will all say don't be so stupid but when we play him he makes us look stupid andDufty has not single handedly got us into the 8. If anything he has been a big part of us almost falling out of the 8.
Field also is not the answer, lets stop thinking that incomplete players are the silver bullet. A first grade player needs to be competent in all aspects of the game. If there is a player to feel hard done by it has to be Herbert. Why hasn't he been tried at fullback, we have problems there and he is performing in ISP.

If Lomax lives up the the wraps that are on him. He did win NSW under 18's player of the year last year, then he could develop into a marquee player. Fullbacks are more likely to be marquee players than centres. Lomax does have experience at fullback too.Lomax is a true out and out centre and should be played there ! Many judges classify this kid as our next Gasnier so leave him there .... He's a centre, a very possible star centre Play him as a centre !!!
If Dufty doesn't improve and can't cut the grade then bye bye replace him with an out and out fullback !! If we don't have one in waiting or in the wings then go to the market !! Simple !!
Didn't i hear once upon a time that Field was our next fullback ???? (he's a half mind you but anyway) I'm sure that came from our impressive management team ......
Enought with the positional changes play them where they should be played and if we need specialists then cause we don't have them then go to the market like every other team does.
This young lad gets a big tick from me good onyango zacZac had a pretty cracking debut considering he was starved of any proper opportunity by his teammates. No early ball at all.
Anyone trashing him, I suggest you open your f**king eyes.
Only six hit ups, a couple of poor dummy half runs. Along with a handling error and giving away penalties. No speed or footwork to even break the line or a tackle. Bombed three tries. Definitely needs a bit more work in the development set up at this stage.
