A little quiet but wasn’t out of his depth by any means. Lomax will be better for the experience. If the ball he chased hadn’t bounced above eye level, he would’ve scored without a doubt, I think it was a miracle that he went THAT close to getting the ball down.

Well worth pursuing in the short term.

Is Lomax a regular goal kicker in reserve grade?

Only six hit ups, a couple of poor dummy half runs. Along with a handling error and giving away penalties. No speed or footwork to even break the line or a tackle. Bombed three tries. Definitely needs a bit more work in the development set up at this stage.
It is funny, that with your avatar, it is like my mind pictures Mark Gasnier saying what you just said. I know it is stupid. lol

I wish him the best of luck. He’s up against it on & off the field(no doubt the keyboard warriors will be calling for his head if he doesn’t save our season).
Pretty happy with Lomax given he looks well short of fitness & really should be at least 5-7 games into his career(well done coach, you fool).
As I predicted there are a host of keyboard heroes in here already death riding him.

Disappointing response...Anyway, I hope the win today gave you some joy and I hope that you are recovering well West Coast. All the best.
I suppose after my recent battle I have a different outlook now but considering old mate praised another poster for complimenting Lomax I thought it was exactly that trolling but thanks for the well wishes again mate it’s a long road for myself but it’s onwards and upwards from here I gotta stay positive cheers for the post

People pointing fingers the wrong way again. Our centres get no quality ball. He wasn't given a single two on two opportunity. No early ball. His biggest asset is his flick pass and ability to stand up his opposite, yet not once did we give him a chance.

Dufty and I hate to say it, Friz have been stifling our right side all year.

I thought Lomax had a very solid debut.
Looks like a cool customer, defended very well and seems an accomplished goal kicker.
If McGregor picks Aitkin ahead of Lomax he needs his head read.

Zac had a pretty cracking debut considering he was starved of any proper opportunity by his teammates. No early ball at all.

Anyone trashing him, I suggest you open your f**king eyes.
Fkn Agree his defence was better than Aitkens & I too was waiting for early ball on an early tackle count, instead we went one up until tackle 4 all game & went for field position with a kick on the last. obviously this was the game plan from McNoidea to get us back to how we won our earlier games.
I wonder if Aitken would had the ability & brains to off load to Dufty, knowing he had to get it early, for any chance of getting to the line.
