Don’t say things like tripartite.more accurate - but they indemnified Lomax's costs - I would say it was a tripartite agreement that they will pay Parra's costs.

Nobody is better at hiring lawyers than our GM. Great work MON!Woohoo
They put the right of pressure
That Moses lawyer is a gun , ripped them all to shreds
To be fair, you have defended yourself in court several times, and must be due for a win.To be fair I reckon I could have won this case considering there appears to be a shitload of incriminating evidence
Also a part of me thinks what parra were going to bring to court wouldve been incredibly juicy and potentially resulting people "having to step down" due to corruption. Its a shame well never get to see the innerworkings of the league
I am speculating on the rumour about how they didn’t want Matterson and were just offering to take him to release him and clear some of our cap space. If you don’t want rumours here, don’t have a rumours thread. He said he didn't want to go there. It's in plain English, and it's sourced.
The end.
Yeah, maybe they only offered to pay his costs before we subpoenaed all the comms between the Storm and the NRL?Really? You can’t see a possible outcome of the blowtorch comment that would’ve been monumentally scandalous? Typical Melbourne
ffsthe timing is suspicious as soon as the eels announced they were subpeonaing the nrl suddenly the storm went from outright belligerent to very agreeable
There is a guy down there who does a good boot polish, to the hairLol literally just saw PVL on Sussex and Druitt heading towards darling harbour

Mate the Storm have been dodgy as f**k since they entered the comp, have u not read the papers over past 30 years, there questionable season ending manoeuvres are the tip of the iceberg along with the comps the think they’lve wonCan someone enlighten me into what the Storm and NRL could possibly be hiding in relation to this matter?
I've seen hundreds of people suggest that Storm folded because they didn't want anything aired out in court, but if that were the case why did we offer to cover Lomax's legal fees in order for it to go before the courts?
What could the NRL and Storm have done that was so controversial with relation to Zac Lomax? Aside from Trips' text to "apply the blowtorch" (which I admit isn't the best look) I've seen nothing to suggest any monumental scandal.
Seems to me like we tried our luck and Parra wouldn't be strongarmed. That's it?
Yet, it’s still allowed to happen.Even now you are a world class f**kwit.
You are really just here to troll and attack Parra fans.
Psst he’s a Scum supporterMate the Storm have been dodgy as f**k since they entered the comp, have u not read the papers over past 30 years, there questionable season ending manoeuvres are the tip of the iceberg along with the comps the think they’lve won
If true, straight up $750k and their initial offer was $100k. And some say MON lowballs peopleBrent Read seems to still be on the Storm payroll.
Anywho, a transfer fee means nothing to us. We own a casino FFS.
How can they when they were a party to the proceedings and tampering. Is the nrl going to investigate Melbourne and itself for potentially tampering?
It’s a joke isn’t it?How can they when they were a party to the proceedings and tampering.
