2018 ladder predictions

Blake Green and Tohu Harris have been brilliant buys for the Warriors. Blake Green is partly an organiser and gives Shaun Johnson the chance to play his running game. Tohu Harris is a powerful and disciplined forward who will give the forwards the inspiration to play hard and well. Adam Blair also stiffens the pack. The hooker Isaac Luke is the fittest he has been in years.

On the back of those developments the dazzling Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will be cutting opposing defences to ribbons.

if they win in Canberra this week against a desperate Raiders I'll start believing.

Im not sure where this rubbish about saints being such strong starters came from. It was the case in 2015 from memory and i think we were 5-1 last year but lost a heap of winnable games. For a long time Dragons were known as the opposite. When we made a prelim in 05/06 we struggled a fair bit in the earlier rounds.
And I'm still confident we'll go better than Brissy
You would like to go better than the broncs, but are no chance. Just be satisfied with 7th or 8th and out in week one

They have played Canberra in Canberra and won there too. NZ Warriors are well on the way to being a top 4 side, as I have predicted.

Canberra self imploded like they usually do lol. Yet again another team that probably won’t make the 8

They’ll be tested for the first time this season next week v Roosters

Souths are looking like a decent side now so the Warriors get a bit more credit for their first up win in Perth too. But year Roostrs next week is a step up. But they’re beating what’s in front of them and doing it impressively.

Yeah that’s true, can only play what’s in front of you. But I’ll reserve judgement for when they play top teams

You’d have to seriously start looking at the Raiders as strong spoon contenders.

They’ve already lost to the Titans, Knights and Warriors who were all expected to be in the bottom 4 and teams the Raiders would have expected to get points against. If sides like Melbourne, Roosters and NQ start hitting their straps like you’d expect then the Raiders aren’t going to pick up any points there either.

New Zealand Warriors are likely to lose to the Sydney Roosters next weekend. That will put the Sydney Roosters into 2nd place and the Warriors into 4th or 5th.

Over the length of the season the so-far successful St George team will be beaten handily by the Roosters and Melbourne, thereby knocking them out of the top two positions.

By Round 10 it will be clear that Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm are far and away the two best teams, and the NQ Cowboys, NZ Warriors, and St. George-Illawarra will fight it out for the other two top four positions.

Nathan Cleary out for 10 weeks. Penrith cannot win many without him.
They said that about the Cows last year when they lost Thurston.

Behind by 7 with 3 minutes to go, they would have lost against any other side.
