Blake Austin is a better 5/8 than Anthony Milford & Mitchell Moses

How good is the NRL...a club is willing to pay a guy in excess of 700g a year who will not tackle and who can not tackle and falls in a heap every second match. Mitchell Moses is one hell of a lucky person. Must be a few guys in the Parra team getting paid peanuts who are putting in big time who are really pissed off

Happens in a lot of sports/professions. Obviously not to the extent of the money thrown about in the NRL but most of the time it comes down to how popular you are, who you know and how well you can blackmail (e.g. Leaving and taking players with you etc)

That Moses defensive read (or lack thereof) was pure comedy. That was great camera work to focus on Moses knowing he's the worst defender in the sport, and he would produce the lol's for us at home. Great stuff Fox Sports.

He should be thankful his manager is a genius. He isn't even worth half of 700k or whatever they paid him

Parramatta needs an attacking half. His defense is an issue but they will most likely get more out of his attack then they will lose from his defense.

Norman is their attacking half, what they need is a really hard nosed half that turns up every week and steers the team around the park and takes good last tackle options. Sadly Moses is not your man, he is a mental midget that goes missing three weeks in four. He will have the very odd blinder, but unless the coach can give him a heart and brain transplant its going to be more rocks than diamonds

i could be wrong, but in the 3 games he has played with gutherson in the halves arent the stats something like:

Moses:

Tries: 0
Try Assists: 1
Line Break Assists: 2
Line Breaks: 0

Gutherson:

Tries: 1
Try Assists: 2
Line Break Assists: 3
Line Breaks: 3

Meanwhile, missed tackles:

Moses: 14

Gutherson: 7

Back to the bench for Austin, meanwhile the other two start.

Awful coaching decision by Ricky born out of the Hodgson injury. I suspect the spine will be rejigged constantly throughout games, and throughout the year.

Moses doesn't play 5/8 anymore btw...

Austin and Sezer both need a rocket after last season. I don't think it's a bad idea to stir things up a bit.

We're pretty f*cked until Hodgson gets back anyway.

Milford looked hideous last night
Seems like this is increasingly becoming a race to the bottom, none of these guys are actually remotely as good as anyone thought theyd be
