dunno if he'd be a good fit...certainly not worth what they're paying him. does he wanna be a fullback or a half? no doubt we'd have a sniff...but hope we don't give him carney's money.

Barba won't leave QLD. If he is released from the Bronco's he will end up at the Cowboys.

Josh Hoffman is keen to move to the Dogs, but Wayne is a huge fan of him, so there still might be a spot for him at the club, especially if Barba is released.
Hoffman would be fullback, and Milf/Hunt in the halves.

Also, you can probably rule out Hunt leaving the Bronco's now. Wayne is also a fan of the kid, and will be against a high paid move for DCE.

The mail I am getting is DCE and the Titans, but it is only tenative talks amongst management as no official offer can be made until November.

Foran is also another who will be testing himself on the markey, and the Warriors are very keen on bringing him home.

I would be very happy if we threw our hat in for Foran.

I believe he would fit our club perfectly.

With you 100 puss cent Rubiks. There is lots of players I just cant imagine playing in the BWB but I CAN imagine KF for whatever reason. I love the way he commands the plays. As good as Toddy was he never seemed to be strong in that regard. Foran is though and could take a leadership role imediately. You could build the club around players like him. Love to get him.

Foran is a bit of a risk. Goes f**kin great and I love him as a player, but his huge performances come when he has quality around him in Stewart and Cherry-Evans. He'd be really great for us, but it would be a mistake to soak up marquee money on him...I don't think you'd get marquee performances out of him without ballplaying threats either side of him to grab the attention of the defence.

He's not at the level of a Thurston who can perform while heavily marked, and we don't have much in our squad to ask the questions you need to give someone like Foran time.

Would happily be proved wrong, but I think you have to be careful about signing players who are stars in a strong roster. Sandow post-Souths is a good example of that. And essentially any post-Melbourne player bar from GI and Widdop.

Not sure I agree Ghoti.

Foran is a tough competitor who keeps on fighting. I think he would go great in our team. DCE however, I'm not so sure how he'd go in a dud team without any set plays.... basically our team.
