Des is a great coach but this year there is a little chink in the armor and probably has a lot to do with not retaining Ennis, and also you guys don't have a strike fullback like Barba/Stewart which Des does well with. He is definately a top 3 coach along with Bennett and Bellamy.

Yeah if memory serves correct I'm pretty sure both Morris and Nightingale have been approached about playing fullback fulltime in the past, but both have stated they prefer to play on the wing. Wayne Bennett described Brett Morris as one of the few "genuine" wingers in the comp.

Well Nick why has Brett asked for a release to play fullback for the dogs if it's all just hogwash? And why did he have to announce it with the do or die against Brisbane on tomorrow, which has left the whole team very down. If you look at the faces of the Dragon's players now they look sad& Mitch Rein in particular looks as shattered as I am but I just found out a few hours ago so my overriding emotion is anger.
