First Frenchman to score a try in the NRL!

Should have scored.

Thought he did the worst double movement in history at first, replay showed the ball never touched the ground, nor did the ref call held.

Remi for PM

It was one of several shocking refereeing decisions last night. In this case, if the try had been correctly awarded it would have turned the game decisively in the Roosters' favour.

Shame he didn't have as much heart and gusto as Dallin Watene-Zelesniakiltzmiocshlaschen.. There's a guy who knows how to win a game.

A penalty for a double movement is the harshest rule in the game. Should just rule the tackle complete and replay the ball.

Just a thought but new Caledonia is close to Australia yet I have never heard any mention of league in that territory or a y efforts to spread it there. Does anyone know the story there?

League was played in NC during a short period around 2000 I believe, but all clubs returned to union at some point and have been union ever since. I asked a rugby coach from NC about it, he just stated "politics". If the surrounding Pacific Islands swing a little more towards league, no doubt they would be tempted to cross again. Then again, they don't really count as a country per se so there is not much point in funding them along with other Pac nations, and the FFRXIII certainly wouldn't really bother helping them out. If the NRL got them involved somehow in regional games or even offered them a place in the NSW Cup team, then they may think about crossing over.

He won't leave Uncle Trent though.

Remi would look good in a Raiders jersey too. Ricky could throw a million at him.

The try of the year was undoubtedly Remi's AAMI Park special.

Remi Casty almost scored his 3rd NRL try tonight. He just fell short twice. Overall he had a superb game.

A brilliant decision by Trent Robinson to bring Remi to Australia.

We need more French players in the NRL.

The three best French choices for the future:

Morgan Escare (Full back), Eloi Pelissier (Hooker) Kevin Larroyer (2nd rower).

Escaré has signed for 4 years with the Dragons

Esacré ??

Mon Dieu!

Don't you mean Escaré ?

Yes, Morgan Escaré has just signed for the CATALAN Dragons for four years.

Nick Polites and Trent Robinson have invested their hopes on Roger Tuivasa-Sheck being a great full back for the Sydney Roosters from 2015 on. However if those hopes are not fulfilled, don't be surprised if Nick and Trent make a move to win over the French Flash, Le Petit Morgan, to request a release from Catalans Dragons to join camarade Remi.

If Remi gets a run off the bench tonight against the Cowboys, I expect he will play a blinder that will influence the game's outcome.
