The movie will be a lot better than this (not bad) trailer IMO, the people making it know what they are doing.

They are using a mix of practical effects and CGI too, just like the original. Unfortunately they have presented only unfinished CGI (they still have over 6 months to hone it) in the first footage shown and none of the puppets they made, which is a bad move and will get some people off side from the get go.

It seems like they are trying hard to harken back to the original novel, which is great, I hope they pull it off, the team involved have the ability.

The leaked trailer from a few days ago was better, unfortunately I can't find it anymore.

Yeah, heard a few people state as much. But my question is why the hell not just polish the shit out of the clips shown in the trailer considering It's basically the 1st impression? The trailer just makes it look so heavily reliant on cgi imo.
I do hope It's a pisser of a movie though as It's been a long time. Fingers crossed!

The kid looks annoying. The original worked as Tim and Lex were likeable. The gym girl in the sequel was just irritating.

Just watched it again, some of the CGI actually looks good, particularly the raptors.

I think the main problem with this trailer is the editing, I don't understand how they could do such a poor job. It feels stilted and doesn't have a good rhythm to it, which makes a HUGE difference. An example is with the suspended Shark. The music suddenly stops and it cuts away to a different angle right at the peak moment of the scene which is really jarring and makes you focus on the less than perfect CGI.

It was released early after a totally different trailer leaked a few days ago, perhaps they did a rush job and changed it at the last minute?

Love the raptors in these movies (except for the stupid ones with feathers in 3). Just their sounds/noises gets my heart pumping. There was some of that at the end of this trailer.

It will a probably be a shitty CGI fest..... but I'll be damned if I miss watching this at the movies.

I do wonder what the hybrid dinosaur will look like.

I got excited, I admit it, the 1st is my top 5 fav movies of all time.

I will say, I never watched the third I think it was so how did they get from abandoned islands that always go wrong to a fully fledged park? Have I missed something in the third sequel?

And, i hope the genetically modified dinosaur doesn't wreck the movie, seems a bit unnecessary.

Then again it might make sense. Say they have learnt the dinos behavior and learnt to control/contain them, then they need a game changer.
