what is certain imo is that neither DCE or foran will leave sydney. they've both cited on numerous occasions that their families are set in sydney so unless the titans and warriors are talking 1.5m per season contracts they're just being used as negotiation tools.

i think one of them will end up staying. i'd have the chooks as the favourites for foran IF the chooks run the marker through james maloney but i don't think they're prepared to do that.

From what I'm hearing the Warriors offer is huge... Not the 2M a season that dickhead in the Warriors forum is telling everyone...

But it would make him the highest paid player in the league... And by a fair margin... So 1.5M could be on the mark...

But to Forans credit... It's not all about the money... He obviously has to look at his young family... Which is fair enough.

We wont sign Foran, Hastings is way too highly regarded at the club. If Maloney moves on at seasons end it'll be Hastings Jnr who gets first crack at the 6.

Kind of agree with you there. Whilst Foran is a talented player, the issue is that he is not a recognised goal kicker. Maloney is clearly the Roosters best goal kicker in the first grade squad. Only Hatsings would come close to being able to try and fill the goal kicking boots Maloney would leave if he left the club.

Maybe they'll just buy a goal kicker they'd still have a spot or two in the 13 that wouldn't be rep players so they'd still have cap space.
