api would had been a better option than mcinnes for back up to cook,souths have failed us miserably in keeping the right players and losing the right players such as dwalkz.our backline is a joke but few on here seem to dismiss this travesty anyway you will all see in time how woeful and frustrated inglis will become when our latest recruitment duds let tries in willy nilly wait and see then you will see i am right!

Well first thing is the choice of centres - Goodwin ( I wouldn't go into whats wrong with that choice again, you have already heard why I think its a bad choice)

Five eight I believe Keary went a bit backwards last year when Reynolds was out injured Keary did not take control of the side with his kicking game the guy who took control during that period was Sutto, Cody showed yesterday what he could do with 13 men on the field compared to 9 in the side, Good running game, passing. Hopefully Keary saw that performance yesterday and lifts his game to the next level.

I don't think Clark is up for a starting prop position yes he was good in the 9s but I don't see him as a prop in first grade best position for him is already taken in Sam Burgess at lock.

Carter did well but I think is best suited on the bench as he can lift the side coming on and also he can cover a number of positions.

The bench well Madge likes that over power style of football having a hooker on the bench kind of goes away with that also having Tyrell on the bench is kind of a waste as the guy doesn't make the metres as other NRL props do.

Judging on yesterday performance its clear that Hunt, Brown, Cody and Carter have to be in the side in round 1

McInnes is a good hooker give him time he will prove you wrong. Trust me.

Api didnt want to stay at that stage we had Luke signed to a long contract and McInnes still was contracted at the time.You could say the same thing about Peats,but what is the point in dealing with what ifs and should of done this should have dont that,we can only deal with the players we do have not ones we dont.

But he may find it hard to make the team this year.
Middle forwards who are probably ahead of him are the 3 burgii, tyrell and clark who has been outstanding in the pre-season. Carter has also been good, so grevs might be behind the black ball at the moment

i wouldn't say tyrrell and clark are better props than grevs. grevs makes good metres and can push his way to extra metres after he hits the line, but if he is used in the second row, he can be used in a similiar way to how te'o was. carter does look pretty good. i love his energy and big hits. he would be in my 17 at this stage

yes but only 8 interchanges are allowed now, instead of 10.

grevs over clark and tyrrell any day blind freddy knows that...carter has the goods day in and day out unlike mcinnes i guess madge will find this out slowly in a year or two or three or five or 10??why persist when they dont have it i cant wait to be proven wrong let the games begin mr mcinnes!

cook is fast out of dummy half so was luke,mcinnes is not or am i missing something here

mcinnes' defense looks good. i'm fairly sure it was him who put a grubber kick into the ingoal area which got us another set of 6. in the nines he scored from dummy half running over some guy. he is going alright. i agree that cook looks very good and carter looks good too. i'd have all 3 in my 17 at this stage, but carter in the backrow

grevs is in a league of his own over clark and tyrrell although i think clark may have a good 2016 ile give credit where credit is due clarky will go ok in 2016 barring injuries tyrrell never gets better average at best which is ok for bash n barge we should of got trex for bash n barge and drop tyrrell..just a thought

im comparing hooker to hooker what ever style they play and cook is far better than cam unless your wearing a pair of spec savers rose colored glasses?

shadow, i think mcinnes will only be dummy half for like the first 20 mins. cook will get plenty of time at dummy half when he comes on, don't worry about that. you know how quick and creative cook is. just think how effective he is and will be when he comes onto the field fresh and full of energy after about 20 mins when the opposition is tiring.

i prefer my hooker to be good at defence and do darting runs as isaac did remember alien?mcinnes caint a darter like luke or cook or api geeeez mcinnes is so far behind these players in metres gained from the scrum base cam goes side ways lol

at this stage i can only fit one of clark and tyrrell in the 17. what did you think of brown last night shadow???
