What I want to know is where were these extra auditors when Andrew gee went crawling diwn the nearest hole when the Broncos were accused of rorting the cap. Don't get me wrong I'm not making excuses for the board but it does feel a bit like double standards.

Everywhere I've worked there has been internal and external audits periodically.......

Silver lining, thank f**k this lot won't be there for very much longer and maybe, just maybe we may end up with professionals running this club for the very first time in its history.

But then again, probably not, the NRL's appointment of the Tigers board hasn't been all that stellar actually. So who's to say where we may end up in 3 to 5 years from now.

Believe me when I say, this, this total and absolute abomination that is unfolding right now, WILL hobble us for at least the next 3 seasons.

If you can't see that, then I have a massive bridge I want to sell you that spans the harbour in the Simpson desert.

No one disagrees with you, Jake. The problem is that you are doing exactly what you are accusing, Gronk and IFR33K of doing except you only blame Sharp, where you accuse them of blaming previous people.

The simple reality is that this has spanned ALL of them, so they are ALL f**king useless and to blame.

So rather than dwelling on who's fault it is, All we can do is continue to support the coach and players until the NRL sort us out. Finger pointing isn't helping anyone.

If people like, Suity (not a dog at him either) for example feel they can't support the team like they used to, then so be it. Everyone has a choice in life. Maybe and hopefully one day the club can win them back.

We can't be the only ones with dodgy deels.......only the ones with so much backstabbing and leaks and stupid enough to get caught.

The NRL had 2 very large situations of systematic cheating within 10 years, after the first one they should be regular imo.

I don't hate anyone champ. I still love the footy and the club. Just care about how the club is being run. It's so disappointing the state we are in at the moment. Supporters deserve much much more. We need an independent board free of factions.

I'm also allowed my opinion and entitled to be furious with current management for the predicament we are in.

I dont pretend to know what the answer is. I dont think any board will be very successful in the near future cos there are clearly people who want to undermine any board they are not in control of. An independent board has advantages and disadvantages - maybe less influenced by factionalism but probably less likely to help us assemble the best squad we can.

As I said I want Sterlo in charge and don't care for factions. Independent board is the only solution with likes of John Quayle on board would be great. Spagnolo and Fitzgerald had their chances, the plumber had his chance and muffed it. Now we need change, real governance change for the survival of this club.

Storm and Dogs did not breach the cap. They had players sign multiple contracts to systematically cheat.

Other breaches have been due to interpretation the rules, technicalities or inept management.

The Storm and Dogs basically got away with blatant cheating. And there is the problem the NRL created for itself. If they had treating the cheating seriously then the clubs would take the salary cap more seriously and employ competent people to administer the cap and also have some oversight. As it is, each club has a go at interpreting the rubbery rules and we have this constant stream of negative press over issues that really have no effect on the game.

The full on cheating by the Dogs and Storm resulted in premierships. It is why they cheated.

These other instances of breaches seem to be based on the premise that it is just easier.
