How can people on here blame Inglis....the guy takes hit ups because the forwards aren't stepping up and doing their job!! So we want him to do hit ups and expect 100 meters try's as well. We should definantly resign him because there's nobody better we can replace him with. After origin he will go back to fullback and if the rest of the team especially forward pack pull their finger out he will be unstoppable again!!!

I don't think Madge will move GI back to fullback.

I reckon Madge will play GI at 5/8 or centre instead.

Cody or AJ will be fullback.

We need to send Keary to Norths now. We need to clean our hands of him, good riddance I say.

if we are going to start with cook at dummy half (which i'd be fine with) then we might as well just keep him on for the whole match, and instead of having mcinnes on the interchange, have an extra back rower/prop on the interchange. that way the forwards have a better rotation/rest during the match, so they should be a bit more effective

In fact we need to convince the Catalans or some Suepr League team like that, that Cam is a gun. We bait them alien. Then we send him off their and they'll pay the remaining of his contract with us for him to play over there.

Losses: Peats, Korosiau, Walker, Luke, Keary, Mansour, Roberts, Pettybourne, Mcqueen, Grevsmuhl, Grant, Teo, Stewart.

Look at that range of talent that's walked out the door.

So us it the coach, the owner or what? That's terrible retention.

Cause you know what, it's a bloody concern.

Peats, Korosiau because Issac was in front of them.
Issac, not sure what happened there.
Walker had substance abuse issues.
Keary never really improved after 2014.
Mansour was a John Lang blunder.
Roberts had attitude issues at two clubs.
Pettybourne never stepped up.
McQueen still isn't really a top performer at the titans.
Grevsmuhl, never was a replacement for Te'o.
Grant, we overpaid for him.
Te'o, a big loss but wanted out of the NRL after being hounded by Weidler and opposition supporters.
Stewart was well past his best and just bloody useless imo.

He will go back to fullback.....I think Cody ba k to five eight and AJ is not a long term fullback although he went ok against parra he is not a week in week out fullback.

He might have known that to get him back it would have messed up the salary cap management, so he might have wanted to wait for another year or 2 to get him back; but what if Crowe basically overruled him? Is that possible? Can a part owner overrule a coach when it comes to football decisions? I'm not saying this is what happened, but if it did, maybe this is why we heard rumours at the start of this year about Madge maybe going to the Newcastle Knights? Maybe he was pissed off big time (IF that is what happened). Part owners should not be getting involved in football operations/salary cap management, they should not be criticizing players, or telling them how to play - period.

Looks flashy but has brain snaps ,like v eels kicking on 3rd into an eels player a kick nobody was expecting plus peeling off tackles without winning the wrestle

Last Fridays game was AJ's best at fullback so far.

Well then we can play him at fullback.

Play Cody at 6 where he can play naturally and Reyno can look after the kicking and play more structured.

Play GI at centre.

We have good options Southsport there which is positive.

As I said, I'd drop Keary to Norths. His heart isn't in it for SOUTHS anymore. Good riddance.

The 5 latest players to play for Souths are

Talakai, Gosiewski, Siolo, Neilsen, Oldfield

Out of these 5 only Talakai looks to have the talent to make a good go of it in the NRL in the next few years (Neilsen was OK a few years back but is gone now). That is bad recruitment for you. The players that have been leaving have been generally decent quality players. Lots of negative trades going on for Souths

Roosters put their eggs in the Pearce Basket, it's turned into a disaster
Manly put all their eggs in the dce basket, it's turned into disaster.
Tigers are going down the moses/brooks route. It's not looking good but you never know.
Titans almost put all their eggs in the dce basket, but it looks like losing dce is the best thing to happen to them.
The nrl market is unpredictable, we aren't the only team to struggle at the moment
