It means Slater receives the ball in better positions than French, which is a function of Melbourne's spine spending so long together.

Moses has only played nine games with French at fullback, for five wins. Include Norman in this trio and it is only six games for three wins. Not long enough to form a sharp combination, and not a sufficient sample size to judge anything more than that.

Um - no it has nothing to do with what they were doing - it is being out in that heat that is the problem. Just standing there doing nothing would sap your energy. But clearly you are a finely tuned specimen and it would not impact you at all.
