Depends what you mean by leading the pack. He is a beast in the gym for starters you can't measure that sort of stuff nor can you on his paypacket without knowing exactly we he gets and other forwards get.

Making some serious metres would be a decent KPI.

I have no idea how his gym numbers will relate to what he earns.

You sign experienced guys for more then off field. Recovery, Diet, Attitude to training etc all part of the package with experienced guys.

Of course all that counts. But even with that you still have to play as an elite prop in the field. And his stats don't support his price tag.

I compared him to a player who has the same job, is in the team we play this week and has lost both his games this year compared to our 2 wins (go us) It's more than a fair comparison.

Tim Glasby was laughed at when picked for QLD. He was also only a benchie whos job is to give his better front rowers a rest at Storm. He wouldnt be near the QLD side if it werent for injuries. They simply have shit depth. He's average and would earn average money. Although i think hes a great Tamou comparison.

Bromwich averaged 127m per game last year. He has started slowly this year. But so have the Storm. If his numbers remain that low I doubt Bellamy would consider him to be playing well.

If Tamou were paid average money like a Tim Glasby then he would be doing just fine.

Yeah who gives a f**k how the team or players perform on the field. Its not like the trainers or coach or anyone can help with that stuff.

Tamou is always in the thick of the heavy work and so its not surprising his metres aren't that big. Plus he only plays about 40-45 minutes. I think he's been really solid so far this year, but there's room for more and I'd like to see him playing more minutes.

The argument is Tamou is being paid as sn elite front rower and isnt performing like one.

Do you consider Glasby to be an elite front rower? Do you think hes earning even half of What Tamou is? No way in hell.

But as far as comparisons go. Tamou would be on the Glasby level of rep frobt rowers.
