Exactly Gazza, you never know how some turn out when exposed to fg. Some thrive, some don't do much and some take some time to become good. I'll mention names of 3 players Parra thougt were not good enough to play fg so let go. Maloney (think may have played a few games in fg), Keary and Moses. During our dark days of winning the spoon we were desperately looking for a halfback to direct our shit team around. Someone decent may have stopped us winning the spoon in those days.

Keppie is 20 and hasn’t even played reserve grade.

Keppie to me lacks power. Looks a Twal style. Porb plays first grade but not what we want.
If anyone saw tonights game it was brutal. Im thinking of doing an early power rankings update. Not sure any performance can stop who I am about to make no 1.

But on our juniors, I think we have really sucked in the art of junior identification. So many good ones have gone through our fingers over the years. But now it seems as though we can't even develop them as often as we used to.

I look at Penrith and Canberra in particular. They seem to unearth a junior every year or two of real note.

Panthers 2 already this year and its round 4...... Id say in last 3yrs be 14 debutants

I couldnt care less about Keppie. He wont be better then anything we have for about 3yrs. Perhaps when he is 23 he may. In that time his contract maybe up and we may sign him back. Look at Pauli and Tangino when left.
Kikau is a beast who is only making a name now at 22. Keppie would not help us win a title in the next few years. If he wants to go then f**k him.
