Isn’t the Slater man of the series a show that origin is still directed towards QLD.

NSW win the series, but lose the last game in Queensland and a bloke that didn’t even play all three games is the man of the series.

Shows that the poor Queensland fans need some sort of sentiment to show for a team that lost the series.

What a joke.

Gee Barb Smith was unlucky not to get the Wally Lewis medal, she spent about the same amount of time on the field as Slater.

Clearly Barb and Cam were not on the voting panel and it was Biillys fit missus, Senator Ron McAuliffe and Joe Bjelke (from the grave) , Smell Mefinga, Fatty, Locky, and 2 token NSWelshmen in GI and Billy Moore.

What a surprise...

And if we had a decent half we'd have scored points but we were stuck with the chronic masturbator and daddy's boy

Together they couldn't even topple manly who had around 15 on the injuries list

Pair of wank pheasants
Yep..all shit halves win an Origin series and play for clubs sitting inside the top 4.

Slater did play well but come on he didn't even play the whole series and wasn't even Queensland best tonight. Even QLD fans think it was a disgrace. Maloney was the difference in the first 2 games and should've been given the award in my opinion.

It's like the 2015 grand final. Thurston hardly did anything but they still gave him the award despite at least half the players on the field were better.

To be fair Slater was MOTM game 2 (he would have if qld won, should have anyway in my view)...and was easily BOG tonight.

They have to do anything to keep origin alive.

Cleary as a halfback did nothing all series and you know it, he came up with some good defensive plays but is that why he was in the side?

He was as good as Pearce was, difference now is that we are in a transitional phase
