And?? We lost against a team with no halves and one point of attack . We played dumb, sloppy and tactically we were poor. How many times could you say that the last 6 seasons???

Funny, when we get to the finals, BA has taken us there. But when we came last, it was the players' fault or bad luck or a multitude of other reasons.

The fact is last years team wasn’t a wooden spoon team, so climbing 10 spots in a comp as poor as this isn’t the amazing achievement people want to claim.

Ha ha clunky attack - we are 5th best attack only 5 points from 3rd ......

All with a half with 12 or so games, a hooker in his first full year of NRL, a spine with only 12 games together. Oh yeah add a winger in his first year of NRL and a centre / edge forward / winger in their first year at the game....

Actually looking at where we were last year and changes we have made to our squad, along with the rookies in our spine, 2019 has been a pretty decent year!!

BA has done a fine job this year. He has made some good changes and we are trending in the right direction. As a result he was re-signed. Some people have even suggested he should be coach of the year, but personally I think that's going too far.

We have a solid platform from which to kick on. If we don't then BA's tenure will no doubt come under scrutiny again. But right now he isn't going anywhere because there isn't an available alternative that could have done much better with that squad this year.

Merkins need to accept it, move on and get behind the team.

Funny, when we don't make the finals it is BA's fault, but when we do the same stingy, unreasonable merkins can't give him any f**ken credit for it!

Both Stefano and Kaufusi were selected in under 20s SOO this year. Must mean they are considered within top few best young props going around. Also must mean they have some skill to bring to NRL team when our bench is virtually bringing none.

When I have seen Kafusi in the NRL he looks quite slow getting back in the defensive line after making a tackle.
He is 19 and in the off season put on 10kgs. He needs time to adjust.

Cleary was meant to be the polish that wins Panthers a title. Flop
Seibold as above Flop
Dragon a top 4 chance. Flop
Knights with Klemmer and Ramien will make top 8. Flop
Titans. Disaster
Warrriors. Same old
Sharks if miss 8. Flop
Nth Qld will be back. Flop

Id say 8 coaches flopped.

Id say 2 or 3 did as expected in Bennet,Bellamy,Robinson,But still a job well done.
And Pay,Stuart,Mcguire,BA and Des all did better then fans expected and should be happy with where their side finished and how they played.

Why would he get credit for taking us from last to the finals? If he's responsible for taking us to the finals then he's also responsible for us coming last. We've won three more games than we've lost and have a less than stellar points differential of +44. It really is a mediocre competition this year.
