Tim Mannah woukd go ok. Sure he isnt part of top 17 but would be handy as part of top 21. Wont cost a lot and brings experience. Watching him in NSW cup and still to good for that level.

Mannah's the kind of guy that will have more value to Parra than anyone else. One club player, 200+ games, bleeds club colours. He'll never be able to give any club exactly what he gives them in his twilight years. Lawrence falls into much the same category at the Tigers.

If they don't want them we should be steering well clear.

Always respected Mannah, the one merkin that kept turning up for parra through a lot of shit years. Don’t know if he has Nrl left in him but I could see him in the Tim grant role if he comes cheap, wouldn’t mind that signing if it happened.

If the Dylan Walker rumours were true I would’ve thought we’d have heard by now.

Maybe the club fears what reaction will come when he is announced. It's possible that they wish to announce another signing or other signings at the same time? To lesson the narrative on him?
I wouldn't be surprised if any announcements are held over till after the grand final.
If you believe those close to the club we are currently sitting on signings.

That’s a fair point about announcing signings together, but there will be less scrutiny before the GF than after it.

Maybe they are holding off until the seasons end for the rumoured arrival of JWH? Then they do the whole lot in one hit?

That's probably the case - They'll wait for finals to be out of the way given some of the rumoured signings still have a bit of footy to play.

I think one of the next announcements we will hear is Brian To'o extending his contract by 12 months. Was told he was close to finalizing it.

He had interest from the Warriors but wasnt interested in moving to New Zealand. Hes really tight with the likes of Luai and Crichton. So i think we can keep the bulk of these younger guys together hopefully.

An end product with Whare and Walker as our centres would be ideal? In what universe?

Whare needs to go before Edwards does. Edwards is better than anyone we can realistically sign at fullback anyway. Might aswell keep him while our next fullback develops.
