Many people who live locally are quite stressed about the situation because it seems like we are at the mercy of the weather. RFS have done an incredible job. The local boss is an impressive bloke. The worst part for the more coastal areas is that rain is now the last thing they need, as well as the thing they need most.

Heavy rain will help the fires, but also wash so much ash into the estuaries that it'll kill everything in there and for quite a way out to sea.
