Why was a knock-on called against Blake, after we kicked the field goal, at the restart?

He was facing his goal-line, and the ball travelled towards his own goal-line...

If it drifts forward it should never be controversial
It will always be, but I agree. Moses f**ken nailed it post game, we got the same call against us last week. The media should be praising the consistency rather than chucking refs under bus. The ball definitely went forward, whether it was a forward pass is up to the ref in the run of play. If Moanly don’t want consistency, they can have a double helping of a bowl of dicks

The boys appear super fit.
Browns defence is superhuman.
Moses defence has improved immeasurably. He outplayed the Aussie and Qld half.
RCG, Fergo and Waka had a few brain farts tonight.
We seem to still have D issues on the edges but its improving.
Matterson was awesome tonight.
Loved the game. Go Parra.

That's not realistic. A winger tearing down the field at full steam could throw a ball backwards over his head and still be caught in front of where he passed it.
Doesnt mattwr. Make it black n white clear. I dont care if theres a hurricane, you gotta throw it far enough back to get xaught behind you

I think when the bloke passing the ball is running sideways it's unlikely to have floated forward.

My thoughts.

- We should have put that game away in the first 20 minutes. Attacking plays were lame and we looked devoid of ideas.
- Our defence is f**king awesome.
- The turbo boys were largely unseen and we virtually made them irrelevant from the game. Well done BA.
- I reckon we look more dangerous when we play a bit more Parraball. We need to, at times, keep the ball alive. Nothing outrageous, just an occasional off-load or 2nd runner, with backs acting as support play.
- We have seriously good defence this season, although I think a team like the Roosters will test us.
- That last pass for Manly's try was fine. We dodged a bullet there.

Furthermore,

- Moses's defence has improved sooooo much. I'm really impressed at how much of an improvement it has been compared to when he arrived at the Eels.. Commentators need to pay attention to this and seriously give him credit for it.
- Dylan Brown's defence is also awesome.
- BA has them working hard. Not for a long time have I seen such intensity for sustained periods of games.

It's nice to again be leading the comp.
Yeah we’re winning and our attack is clunky.

Browns defence is phenomenal, amazing to think he’s barely 20. If we can keep a decent team around him and Moses the next 4 or 5 years we should have a fair crack at a comp.
He is a superstar. His defence is phenomenal for a bloke his age as well as a top kicking game. I'd like to see him run more...he is super quick too

Didn't say it was, Sivo's hit creates the doubt is the point. Good work by Sivo coming in and f**king smashing him.
He smashed him to a standstill and he was running across the ground anyway. There's no way it could end up in front of him and been passed backwards. Despite Suitman's remonstrations, the call was correct. More so because it went against Moanly.

I thought Manly got away with murder in the ruck the second half, Cumstains put away his whistle and Manly got back into it. We really should of put them away earlier.
I was going off about this. I was calling Jake turbo the Richie mccaw of the ruck. He would push people back down a 2nd or 3rd time and nothing.

funnily enough Drs wasn’t happy with inconsistencies in 6 to go rulings. He must be a parra fan

Watching that pass just then on Fox u also see Dylan Brown and Shaun Lane slow up as they have either seen or heard the touchie call it forward...
