I’d be fine with 2 years at 450K. Flick Tetevano after next year. I don’t see it as an issue having 5 very good props. JFH can play minutes at lock, Leniu can come in on short/impactful minutes when ready and we can manage an injury or two.

Unless of course it was between Tamou and a Joey Manu type signing but there’s just not many decent centres out there.

If Dufty is on the move, I hope we're looking at him. We don't have much speed in our club and it would be ideal at FB.

Also, if Tamou is gone to UK, I think Jacob Saifiti is worth a look.

I can't see any decent centres on the market atm.

I haven't seen much of Staines but the few times I've seen him I've not been overly impressed - seems another "safe" option.

I'm just thinking of Dufty on the back of an offload or supporting a break. Speed is something we lack. Wesser had errors in his game too - but his speed at the back was a POD.

In terms of speed, Dufty is definitely an upgrade on Edwards.

If Ivan's coaching is the concern, then surely the FB role wouldn't be much different - just the additional quickness of Dufty might see us make more linebreaks.

Thompson goes ok but at the back end of his career now. Looks like he'll move to the Titans in the next week or so.

CHN - we don't need another backrower but good value on the right deal.

At this stage I think our 2021 centres look like Crichton & Naden.

So did Wesser early on. Needs to learn (or be coached) how to use his speed to get to ground for quick play the balls.

I'm interested in how his strengths can improve our side. And guys with his speed are few and far between. Or we can keep playing safe/conservative.

Staines has HEAPS of speed and I see him as a long term first grader.

Staines Laurie and mcgrady all 6 foot fast indigenous boys coming through at fullback no 1 is not an issue for us going forward but aekins has to go.
