I think, given we've debuted these guys, that loyalty will come into it for the most part. You can see the camaraderie with the players, as if it's something of a second family.

We wont, however, be able to keep every single player that shows promise. Some will take bigger money to go to another team, and good luck to them. The ones we do keep though, will be loyal club players and will stick around biding their time until a spot opens up from injury or some other circumstance.

In my opinion, you can never begrudge a player from securing a bigger deal elsewhere. This game has a very small window of opportunity in which you need to maximise your earnings.

As the old cliche goes, "you can't keep 'em all"

Aint that the truth. Before anyone jumps on about how wonderful he'd be at fullback, he has some growing and filling out to do in managing the week to week of nrl first grade. Is this for 2021 or 2022 ?

Exactly There are some that get dropped and rather than tough it out in reserve grade, they are straight on the phone to their managers.

I think there’s a fair chance he gets to show what he’s got at FB with us next season. Edwards gets injured often enough that there’ll be opportunities. Hopefully the wing spot is enough to keep him interested in the mean time.

2022 but you how some operate. Get the deal done and push for an early release of the last year.

Cashed up and with holes to fill. If a club with cash wants someone they will pay the extra. Look at the Dragons with Maculloch (sp). Unrealistic and un-matchable.

The Sg Ball fullback is highly regarded Sunia Turuva. Watched him a couple of times before there season was ended, another potential freak in our ranks.
