So how come you're calling it a tip on and not a pass? It's not a pass, it's batting the ball off your hand to another player

A bat back off a bomb is also a pass using that logic and therefore cannot be ruled forward but the VR. "INTENTIONALLY TRANSFERRING THE BALL VIA THE HAND(S) IS A PASS"

I think a tip on is a pass and a bat back isn’t.

It’s ok if that player’s initials are J.L. Otherwise it’s still a penalty.

I like how coaches/players/commentators make rules up on the run like you don't have to play the ball with the foot even though the code made a point of insisting that is indeed a rule 2 years ago.
