The drunk from the shire never misses an opportunity to put the toe in does he? Wish he'd hurry up and die from liver failure.
At the end of his summary, he says “ I don’t know”
Classic Buzz disclaimer.

A top playmaker would have given a short ball to Lucy who would have sauntered under the posts. That was the high percentage play.
Douehi went the low percentage play which included many variables - one of which occurred.
I agree with you that an eyes up play was required there. A try went begging.

But are we in that much trouble? We still need 2 more players.I still think Madge could benefit from another coach helping him out.
Nothing about sacking him, just giving him extra resources to draw upon. No overriding, just a “ what have you got?” Sounding board.
That is on the basis of the round one and two disasters, not so much round 3.
SGI are going really well with a couple of extra minds in the mix. They don’t have an elite squad like us but they are playing well.
A bit of insurance. Coaching is a tough tough job. A bit less pressure for Madge.
If the roles are clearly defined and he retains power and all that is made clear and concise in public, he should be fine with it.
Des could consider it a lay over until he joins the cows in 2023 or whatever.

I expected to win all of them or go down unluckily after busting our guts. But are we in that much trouble? We still need 2 more players.
Did anyone think we would win these first 4 rounds?
IMO far to early to make dramatic changes otherwise risk the season now?
Lol no f**kin wayI still think Madge could benefit from another coach helping him out.

He has very little in this area for the team.
A succinct response lolLol no f**kin way
Interestingly, look at the dogs. Barrett was a much vaunted attacking coach, they havnt scored in 3 weeks!A succinct response lol

He hasn’t shown me shit yet.If I get a couple of more likes to this invitation below, I might make “muffed try analysis” a weekly feature for the panel.
poll: would you like TSP to break down one unsuccessful attacking movement per week?

I think this is the knights fullback, almost in the next suburb.
Note Lucy has chilled out and is almost onto his second schooner after not being passed the ball.
Doogies kick was masterclass. He is a high value growth player ( one of Madge’s examples).
On his current trajectory, he will be the best 5/8 in the game within the next 2 years. He’s well paid but so he should be. He’s also very dynamic and exciting.
We are quite lucky to have him.

I thought he was one of the reasons we missed the 8 last year.
His efforts at fullback and in the centres.????
